Definately a lot of competition for squad places , hope the lads that get the nod today can do the business for us .
Need a quick start and plenty of points today , no disrespect to Keighley but games like today we should be looking to rack up the points and get plenty of confidence flowing ahead of what could be seen as bigger games.

Totally agree Gaz , no disrespect to them but Keighley, and Haven , for me are the 2 weakest teams in the Comp ,we should win well. hope so anyway.

very disrespectfull considering you haven't seen us play, no doubt leigh will be favs next week and we did have a poor start to the season, but with key players coming back from injury i think it will not be the one sided affair some think.

given that our first 8 fixtures (5 being away from home and most games against what i would call top 6 teams ) then i would be happy with a BP next and another BP away at fev the week after but stranger things have happened

yes a weakend team played LMR, not the team that will face you on sunday

Sunday will be tough and a lot will depend on how much Haven get away with at the PTB. If it gets messy Haven will suprise a few, if we get a fast game Havens pack will wilt.

im under no illusion, we came to leigh last season with a much stronger team and hammered, if you read my first post i said i would be happy with a BP and leigh will be favorites, but you should know this league always throws up suprises,so writting teams like haven off some times bites you on the bum

Well I think it will be a tough game despite others thinking to the contrary.... in 2008 there was the same over confidence on this board and Haven came and knocked us out of the play-offs.

Skee is a good player, the 18 year old halfback looks like he will be a decent player. I don't think Rob Jackson played in the game v Miners and he's still a good player at this level. Calvert will score, he always does.

Cant see them bothering us , Calvert , is slow now dont think he scored against the Miners, Cougers beat Haven this season, my 2 for the Drop,Cougers and Haven, i will stand by that.
