NK needs an upto date manual, not the one he used before he went to RU.

Who would you appoint that we could afford i think he needs time and his own staff in place, he has a young team and it needs time to develop admitidly we need one or two players in certain posistions but give him and the team time, what is the point this year of winning the league, grand final etc? and we arent bad enough to be relegated even thought Tolouse have been granted imunity we will finish mid table.

Well one of the points/reasons is to be allowed to apply for SL. Winning NRC or appearing in final will give us that right. No GF appearance this year or next or no NRC final win this year or next, forget SL till at least 2015.

Personally, I don't think we will obtain a Super League license no matter what we do or,achieve, sadly!

We're currently around 2000-3000 off an average gate that we could say justifies a franchise.

The point isn't whether WE believe that we can get one, but more that of 'can we get ourselves in a position where we should get one, regardless of whether or not they will give us one'.

I still believe that the problem lies not with NK but with the backroom staff he has had to put up with, or at least certain parts of it.
I could be mistaken here, but isn't there a trend over the last couple of seasons where we start well, rumours start about the coach losing the dressing room, and it then all goes downhill before the coach is pushed out? Seems like its happening again this year.

Correct. Franchise or not, our aim should be to be as strong a club as we can be. At the moment we appear to have very limited resources and a fan base that needs to improve drastically.

Growing the club to a level that we would like will take time (more than two years we have till the next franchise).

Wonder how many Cas fans are in that figure - they usually have a good following.

For what my opinion is worth I think NK is a good coach and as has been said he needs his own backroom staff to work with, the main one I think should go is Paul Rowley IMO, all trouble seems to stem from him, as I said this is only MY opinion

I am sure Saints and Hull would have had a massive following, but I would have expected Cas to take many more fans than Quins.

Regardless there appears to be a significant trend at the moment. Have they run out of free tickets or are the Welsh public not buying into our game?

Indeed. Our crowds are definitely nothing to shout about. Frankly, they're embarrassing when stacked against the Crusaders, free tickets or not.

Give Kelly all the tools he needs to do the job and we will be a success. Tie his hands behind his back and he won't be able to do the job to his full ability.

They are in SL though - we get 2300 in The Co-operative Championship and we're not even playing anything like rugby.

No we don't, we've got that once this season and even then with hundreds of free tickets.

But you do have the best facilities outside SL by a country mile and perhaps better than most SL clubs!

Cracking stadium all t'same. I alway enjoyed Hilton Park but this place is something else. Looks and feels great.
I just wished more people from Leigh used it.

Well the board has always backed the coach with as much money as they could (remember we were fined for breach of salary cap which proves my point) so define ambition cause if they had none why provide the cash?
