If you charge more than your product is worth you have no chance of increasing your business

Crowds will not increase overnight but if we get the word out about pricing etc and play good rugby people will come back!

If cost isnt the factor then why dont we charge £23 to get in we will have that debt paid off in no time

Season tickets have names on them, make sure you have another form of id with the same details on or you could get caught out

Because you have to try and strike a balance, you get it right or you get it wrong. Also one other point I would like to make over the last three years crowds have increased year on year I think and if you buy your ticket a couple of days early you get in for the same price as last year. The options are there for people, if they can be bothered

Probably not but cheaper than Fax that I know of, if you buy your North Stand ticket early its cheaper than Fev. Also the hardcore fans would just take advantage of any offers anyway = money lost, and as Starbug pointed out if you offered everyone in for free you still wouldn't fill the stadium at the moment.

What i am saying is how do we get fans back these will be like it or not walk up on the day fans they will not pre purchase why should they have to? Charging them more on the day is another reason why people will not attend.

The point was if you can't fill it letting everyone in free, you're not gonna fill it charging £8-£10, and if thats what we are going to charge then get ready for trips to Bristol/Northampton/London/South Wales. If we are going to be realistic about RL outside SL then its not going to last much longer in its present form. Clubs will begin to fall by the wayside like we nearly did in November 2011. From what I understood from the fans forum, it wouldn't have been administration, it would have been liquidation ie no more Leigh RL at the LSV or anywhere. If anyone thinks they can make a go of our club then Phil and Keith will probably gladly step aside to let someone else take over. No one came forward last November and Phil, Keith and Trevor decided to stay on when they could have just walked away. Like it or not it is thanks to their hard work we have a club in 2012. Not forgetting the thousand of pounds raised by the fans, which also helped our club limp into 2012.

Didn't mr freer say we were opperating on less tha 300k budget this year surely this covers all our costs otherwise what's the point in saying that?

Because like most things in life there is a limit to what a person will pay for anything , and that limit is different to everybody, its a chicken and egg situation, which come first the number of fans or the cost? , get the number of fans first and then you can stabilise the cost, the only way of using cost to increase is if you have other non RL relevant income, like 1.2 million from SKY, look at the prices in Aussie , much less than SL, why? Because they have other income streams

Our primary income stream is our fans, dont charge enough and we go bust, very quickly

Saley, your ideas and this discussion should be taking place with Messrs Coffey, Freer and Barton. That way you can get from the horses mouth what the situation is and an explanation of x,y and z and then see if your numbers fit.
