About 18 months ago someone questioned Beaumont's approach on signing loads of overseas players etc at the expense of Local lads.
One of the Leigh Directors defended this policy by stating what did the fans want a team of Leigh lads playing in the dog and duck league?
Well it now seems that the club wouldn't be in this mess if they did have several local lads, yes they may not have been challenging for a SL spot but would you swap whats happening now for settled club a youth policy and players that loved the club?

Don't forget this is not the first time this has happened at Leigh maybe everyone should lower their expectations slightly.

It REALLY angered me last season at the MPG, when , 5 minutes after the full time siren, he was laughing and joking with people on the concourse, still in his kit, and posing for "selfies".

Such a shame for a club like Leigh, being a Widnes fan we are heading in a similar direction except weve had no money pumped in. Love the Widnes Leigh game days.

We kept hold of Hutchinson and Reynolds, I'm sure everyone is thrilled with that news.

Hood staying (for now) is the silver lining as far as I'm concerned.

Not really a case of ‘kept hold of’ and more a case of couldn’t get rid off. While on the one hand it’s nice to see we can still put 17 players out...on the other hand it means a higher wage bill going into the last 8 meaningless fixtures.

It’s Leigh , we should know what’s going to happen.
One of the teams above us will mess up but we will lose to Sheffield on a disputed drop goal.

All isn’t like lost.. dagger is an exceptional young player.. Johnson always showed potential.. everyone who has gone thank you and good bye.. only really worried about Hansen as he was Leigh to the core... I wouldn’t be surprised if we get in top 4... bit of extra money and new investors and we will be back as a rugby club next year not some rich mans play thing!

Well if get in top 4 Daggers won't be playing.
