Sounds like there were a few regrettable incidents from scuffles in pubs beforehand to Fev players being threatened in the whistling wren afterwards.

Aye we have some darlins in our ranks.
The club have put up a vid and a still of the alleged culprit. If identified the club will deal with it.

Never seen so many drunks before a game (about 20) walking near The Brittania pub, it was like they had been 'on a stag do' for the last 6 hours. I bet not all of them got allowed in to the ground. When one of them saw my Leigh shirt, he started 'having a go at me' about ticket prices. Fev fans not usually like this at Leigh, but they were pathetic.

Ya Budge, they came in the Centurion and were very loud and boisterous. I noticed one with a Leeds Utd scarf on. I moved on to the Legends bar,so i don't know what happened after that.

Fan identified and given a life ban.
Not a member and rarely goes to games according to website..
Evidence sent to police, Leigh centurions and leigh sports village to aid further investigations.
Details of ban sent to all member clubs.
All done within 24 hrs of the incident. I can't see what else the club could do....

Thing is I never see these dicks at home games,,it’s like they treat an away game as a big day out to go on the rampage,,,
And to be honest it’s no good posting on here or Facebook or twitter etc as they see it as medal that there behaviour is noticed,,

Yes we go for the ale as much as the rugby to be fair,,take turns at driving and enjoy our day out,,a few Fev fans are the same always found in the nice real ale pubs away from trouble

I understand that the RFL are to punish Fev, by taking the two league points off them, and awarding them to Leigh, on the basis that our players, who had been so composed up to that incident, were scared witless of upsetting the away fans!

Always good to see you Robin, you know I love Fev and Fax fans, on Sunday I had a few drinks with Fevgrinder, Gingdong, and Sydnee, it was great to see them for a Chat,not a bit of trouble even from the Fev Fan in the flat cap and blue dress,lol,it was a shame when a Fev Fan dropped a stink bomb though, not a nice smell, though it could have been Gingdong aftershave.
Seriously a good afternoon with the Fev fans, very noisy but great banter, hope to see them all at Post Office Rd for the return game.

This is a problem London has with away fans. Every week you get really drunk fans staggering round, mouthing off as they've been sat on a bus for 4 plus hours supping ale.

That doesn't work in reverse though - I don't believe we have ever had trouble with London fans!
