I am informed by our own 'Statto' Dave Parkinson, that Mick Nanyn has now moved into 7th place in the RL all-time points scoring charts. He needed nine points today, to overtake Leeds' Lewis Jones, and reached the milestone with his first try.

I know it's been asked before but is there a list of the current top 10 available anywhere?

Oh - and to the bloke I was sat behind today - my apologies!! I had no idea what the figures were on the Top Ten List, and thought "The Magic Boot" had just knocked 'Pon Face' off 9th spot......turns out he'd done that weeks ago!!

I completely agree. That Leigh shirt was made for him. I think he's been better than ever this year. With nearly 350 points to his name this season, he could easily carry on and get in the top 5 within next season. lets hope no-one will take big mick from us next year.

Looking at that list, most of them on it would have 'racked up' their points in the days of three point tries, and two point drop-goals. I wonder if anyone has the stats to be able to do a 'comparison' list?

It would be interesting to compare like with like.

I think it will be a good few years before anyone gets anywhere near most of Turley's records!!

I'm going to do a piece in Hornets' programme about Mick, he sure is a points machine. I always thought we didn't get the most out of him as we played him on the wing, he seems to have done better at centre.

and to think he could of left and gone to another club, he has been awesome, despite some people who question his defence, were on earth could you get somebody who provides all those points, he must be up in the top 3 for player of the year, along with hilly/ellis, mind on saying that any number of the boys could deservce to get player of the year.
