Dont know if anyone else has heard but was told today that 4 players have walked out, hope this is not true the last thing we need is serious unrest with 5 games to go.

I'd assume it would be null and void if you did go down, which I hope you don't.

I'd be very surprised if that's the case.

It's only in SL where contracts are declared null and void if a team gets relegated.

Been told Chris is chased by a number of clubs SL and Championship, but Leigh are blocking them all. It sadens me to say it but for Chris progress his career he needs to move on. He has been the stand out player week in week out and deserves better.

Hopefully, we can drag ourselves through this mess and stay up and hopefully, he won't be one of a small group of players who give it their all but the whole team will do.

The lad deserves a big move, but from our point of view we deserve to get some sort of transfer fee, given the amount of time he has been developed at Leigh, not to mention the time left on his contract.

I know Chris is a bit disillusioned at the moment but seeing him every week day he has as yet not sad about leaving.

I am sure no Leigh fan would ever begrude Hilly going to a Super League club. I certainly wouldn't. He burst onto the scene and ever since then has been totally focused the job in hand and been a consistent performer ever since he made his debut.

With the amount of talent we have at the club with players like Hill and Taylor who still have time on their side Millward could do wonders if he can recruit well in key positions and improve the younger ones in Mort, Stanton, Dollin etc. However, getting a good quaility stand off, hooker and loose isn't as easy as it sounds.
