Can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading on here the same people defending the careless entertaining rugby we have played all year are now slagging off us doing just that! Some of us have said all along we need too respect the ball that's all it boiled down too on Sunday hull kr respected the ball and completed the sets! Our lads were out on the feet through all the defence. In defence of Armstrong he's not the only one guilty of passing the ball in touch in our own touch in bad positions we have been doing it all year. Tough wake up call on Sunday. Won't get any easier this week ranging back and fit will be even harder! We need too play the super league way and respect the ball! I won't call the lads they have been outstanding all year we just need too be clever so they he the reward all their hard work deserves!!

I do not have to apologise to anyone for having an opinion which I posted elsewhere, the game changed after Armstrongs pass into touch on our own 10. Whether other people have done it is immaterial. Having an opinion is not fickle. I clearly forgot to put on my rose coloured specs. First half we were awesome, 2nd half we started OK, got 3 scores in front. We then gave them an opportunity and did not let us off the hook for the rest of the game. As someone pointed out there was actually very little action at the North End of the ground

For me Tom Armstrong is a Class player ,everyone makes the wrong decisions even in life,to say Tom has not been the same since he graduated is Coal,maybe he did stick hold of the ball instead of passing , and then passed when he shouldn't have but that's life,Tom will bounce back,some are saying Hock is a liability

the guy has a blinder for the last 7 or I games his ball distribution again is class, as for young Ryan?Nearly 30 tries in the season,he will do for me,I admit he had a quiet game on Saturday ,but again it happens , keep up the good work Ryan

We all have our opinions on both Players and People it would be so boring if we all had the same,I can't wait for Sunday,a good game with good company, bring it on.

That is what quite a few people on here can't cope with, the opinions have to be of a praising nature to be acceptable.

Ryan had a quiet game? I must admit, I didn't catch all of it but in the short amount of time I did watch he scored one and pulled off a superb bit of individual skill to set up another. So there's 12 points he single handedly put on the scoreboard.

Leyth were top class for about an hour and then it changed. If you analyze how that last 20 mins went, then i really think it's unfair to criticize them. For me there were some dubious calls,but hey ho it's time to move on to the next game now. COYL.

The point I'm making is people have been wanting this style of play all year and when it didn't work on Sunday are all of a sudden against it! I have said all year we need too respect the ball more! I don't know how anyone can say brierely was quiet?? His distribution was good again he's not going too walk through super league defences time and time again!!!

I think its just a fitness problem. Im pretty confident that if Fax were in the same position against Hull Kr we would have won the game, the thing is getting in to that position which Leigh were able to do. It was clear to me that Leigh just ran out of steam and when players are tired they tend to make mistakes and then the problem with discipline creeps in as players hold on too long and struggle to get back onside leading to penalty after penalty. Its not usually that much of a problem in the Championship where ref's let a lot more go and the pace of the game is a bit slower but the step up along with stronger ref's will cause problems.

Its going to take time for Championship teams to adjust to that intensity week in week out but Im sure once they do we might see some surprise results. Im not sure Sheffield will cause any upsets but the other 3 are capable of beating SL teams if they have an off day.

We came from behind to beat Bradford and similar to beat Wakefield in the Cup .Wembley finalist Hull KR come from behind to beat us and it's the end of the World my God get real that's RL that's what makes it the best game in the World we will bounce back !

Has anybody thought that after a great half time team talk by KRs coach that they came out and played as they can and put us under alot of pressure making us make that descission maybe a fraction sooner than we would want too. How many times have opposing fans said to us " oh our lads didn't play (1st or 2nd half take your pick) thats why you put so many points on" and we have said "yeah because we didn't let them play. It's not just about scoring or tackling is it , it can some times be positional play that can make you make a bad or poorly executed pass or descission.

It didn't work on Saturday either!

There were a god few things that compounded our downfall but I bet the one that really turned us over was the heat. It must have been hard playing in that.

nowt 2 do with the heat when you consider Leigh's climate is like Benidorm. More down to bad passing and poor discipline imo.

Can't believe Tom Armstrong is being made a scapegoat for one bad pass. He is a class centre-what about the try on half time that should have clinched the match? Having watched the game back I think the real turning point was taking the 2 points at 24-12. Rovers were still rocking at this point, and it looked odds on another try with another 6 tackles. Having said that, hindsight is a wonderful thing............

It is only with hindsight that anybody is saying you should not have taken the 2 points, it pushed the game out to 3 scores, the real issue is that you did not hold on to that lead for whatever reasons.

Rovers took full advantage of the opportunity when the ball went into touch. Not making Tom a scapegoat or even blaming him. I just thought that the game changed at that point. Just an observation. I like many others called for the 2.

The biggest impact on the result was McNally not passing to hock in the play before KR broke, that was a 12 point swing and 30-0 at HT would have been too far
Like Tom, Gregg just executed poorly but I am confident a few players will look at themselves and know what they need to improve on for the next 6 games

we could have scored more points first half.Dixon missed a tackle to leave Dixon v Wilkes wide we turned the ball over on a sixth,kicked on a third,dropped on a second. Armstrongs pass was half way through 2nd half we might have been well clear by then with better application a good kicking game and a fair share of penalties we may have got with the additional pressure.Could,might,if all part of play off rugby we just need to have Reds asking those questions Sunday night
