On Sunday I decided to take my 4 year old daughter for her 1st visit to see the mighty centurions.

To capture the occasion I took the camera along to get a few pics.

Anyway as we arrived I sent her to stand in the middle of one of the tunnels and grabbed a couple of snaps. Next thing I notice a steward coming over. 'here we bloody go' I thought....

However I was wrong the fella asked if we'd like a picture out on the pitch. He then led us out onto the try line and we got a cracking pic of the two of us.

None of them are, there just abiding to the rules of the license.
If we didn't then the likes of you couldn't be a spectator, and all the games would be played behind closed doors.

But we ask cheerleaders to come to the match , and then stop them from ' cheerleading '

Your average 4/5 stone teenage girl in a pair of trainers will obviously damage the pitch , unlike you average 16/17 stone RL player in a pair of rugby boots

They are also put in the corner of the seating area and then told they are not allowed to Cheerlead from there and made to go in the North stand

And you're right, not one of the stewards at the LSV is a jobsworth, just ask the Halifax fans and see what they say about them.

Enlighten us then, why are they not allowed on the pitch and why are they put in a corner and then moved when they start to sing?

Happy to be proved wrong , only going off what I was told by a parent of one of the kids , and from what she was told by the person who runs the team

Did the club ' ask ' for the cheerleaders to attend ?

Were they refused to go on the pitch apart from forming the ' tunnel ' ?

Were they told to sit down and be quiet ?

Our chairman also said last night they were even saying at one stage that the mascots werent allowed on the pitch.
As for the cheerleaders I spoke to them and they said they weren't allowed on the pitch.

AT also said that someone collapsed and the stewards didn't even go over and then the club got a letter becuase they had to get the club doctor over and order an ambulance which 'wasn't procedure'

That's nothing to do with the Stewards, its up tot the groundsman, Stewards only do what theyre told.

Are you told to ignore people who collapse?

Well in October there will be hundreds of 'kids' on the pitch when the Girl Guides centenary celebrations are held there.

They were happy for the youngsters from the amateur clubs to be on the pitch at a previous game, was this just because it was the first game after pitch maintenance work?

"Someone has collapsed, where is the bloody groundsman when you want him"

the clun need to tell the groundsman to jog on! next they'll ban the flags, the beer the singing. the club need to tell the people who own the LSV to F'OFF!
i was at the meeting last night and was itching to tell them to grow some balls.
