Has anyone got an email address for TD club? I'm not carrying on with it for next season so need to know if I have to let them know or just cancel the standing order ,it was for 12 months so wouldn't think they would just carry on with it without asking me but want to make sure ,thanks .

I've done the same, bronze membership has bee scrapped and I can't afford to pay any more.

join LISA and pay what the bronze membership was Johnny the club need the money just as much this season.

But then I wouldn't be able to afford to go to games Lynda, I paid £20 per month last year for 12 months, but that meant I could go to every home game and I could budget for that, even if I missed a few home games through work it was still worth it. At £30 PCM I don't get the benefit, i'd have to get to every home game which I can't do.

I understand that Johnny, I meant the amount after cost of season ticket of course .

I'm not getting a season ticket now, just had a baby and can't afford to pay out near to £200. It's not a big deal for me doing this, TDC was just convenient. Money came out on payday and if money was tight at the end of the month I didn't have to worry about going to the games.

I'll look at my finances after Xmas has been and gone and see about LISA.

I hope they know what they are doing - £400 for a family ST at £40 a month for 10 months would be affordable for many families seeing bills rising and income static/falling. £50 in any given week may not be so affordable for the same family, same applies for the adult tickets.
TD should have 2 distinct sides, corporate and fans. £22 a month taken via visa etc for fans to include main bar access and a bespoke polo with a 250 limit would have a great take up imo.

I'd still be a member if that offer was on Maurice, as would the Wurzel.

If this is true ( and no reason for it not to be ) it is very poor from the TD club, despite me telling them on at least two occasions this year my email address I have had no correspondence from them at all yet my £20 a month has been collected like clockwork. We were promised newsletters monthly draws and all kinds but in reality all I received was my season ticket ( in fairness this was the only reason I did it ) despite the 12 months being up I have still not had any notification of these changes and I also won't be paying the £30 per month it now seems it is ( just cancelled DD ) so that is another season ticket holder lost, and I just don't understand the reasoning behind scrapping the bronze membership. This idea of the TD club has so much potential but was just rushed through at the start of last year and instead of improving on the concept they go and ditch the normal joe public like myself and leave a bad taste in the mouth. I am one unhappy EX member.

I was talking to a founder member of the touchdown club today and I asked him what my membership fee was for the coming year. He said £20 a month.

No TD for me never got what they promised Badly run no communication with members unless you were a member of the elite team (Gold Members and Gold Members +

If that is the case frank we need clarification and quick, at £20 a month I will stay a member any higher and unfortunately I'm out.

The Touchdown Club have been in discussion with the Centurions since the end of the season and (more recently) LSV.

The 2013 scheme has now been agreed and has been ready for launch for over a week, which is about a month later than we would have hoped.

The Bronze and Silver packages have been merged for the simple reason that there were only 7 silver members in 2012 however there is more being offered to bronze members this year such as a Touchdown Club Shirt, matchday hospitality, and obviously the additional home games.

I'm not sure we can release the costs just yet but I can catagorically confirm they are NOT £30 per month. Adult concessions will still be available.

We'd love to tell you more, honestly, but we can't just yet. Hopefully over the weekend we'll get the nod to proceed.

I didn't know anything about the scrapping of the Bronze ,only email iv'e had is one saying sorry for not getting any news earlier this year so yes bad communication . I am getting the regular ST for next season so still supporting the club .

See above Jake. Its not £30. It was discussed along with lots of other things but its not £30.

To be honest mate this is what happens with word of mouth, we've been biting our lips for a while now, itching to let people know exactly where we were up to. We'd love to have rolled this all out earlier and believe we have been in a position to do so for a number of weeks.

However, for many valid (and constructive) reasons we've not been able to which has been frustrating for all concerned. I wont bore you with all the ins and outs but everyone concerned have been pulling and pushing it.

Bronze isn't scrapped, it's just merged with silver (and improved) for the simple reason there were only 7 silver members so it didn't make sense splitting the two again. There's no ulterior motive and I state again, it's not £30 either.

The various emails etc throughout the year were done, but there have been numerous 'technical' issues shall we say over the season which we hope will improve.

Regarding the comment about it being badly run, the TDC generated around £30k with a good profit margin. The 'elite' Gold members, who are fans like the rest of us, coughed up a large amount of money themselves to subsidise the fans travel to Featherstone, and raised almost £5k from the bike ride and summer ball.

We've always said that people are more than welcome to come and help, we're fans too so there's no them and us. Trevors door is always open and Keith will answer any questions too.

i think if anybody can afford the t/d club then give it a go, hopefully this next season they will have ironed out the teething troubles.
