Same conversation different week it's been going on all season yet the coaches are yet to sort this issue out that's why we deserve to be where we are in the table. There is no excuse for it now and go into middle 8s with this mentality and we will find ourselves playing championship rugby again

It's not our discipline or coaching that is the issue, it's the standard of officiating



Why try and fix something within our control?

Leeds on a team warning gave 6 further penalties away yet nobody was sin binned,and on 2 different radio stations both said they couldn't see why Maria had been sin binned

So all officials have it in for leigh? Is this what your saying? Leigh's problem is fitness they have to many old players (forwards) who get lazy and give penalties away Have you noticed that's it's only the teams that are losing have a problem with the officials you don't see cas chairman all over twitter calling match officials do you. DB with his little outburst would not of helped the situation the sooner he keeps off social media the better when leigh was whacking everyone with 50 in championship DB was not on twitter saying how bad match officials are, I'm all for the two ref scenario like in the NRL it seems to cut out all the niggling penalties round the ruck

The heading of the thread says it all for me - "same old, same old" - but not necessarily the indiscipline. The way I saw it is that the sin binnings were marginal, both for late tackles on the kicker, a split second after he kicked the ball - in wet slippy conditions. (even the ref slipped and fell!

) However, if they were late and dangerous, then Child made the correct decisions. Give him his due, he doesn't bottle decisions, like some do. Leeds didn't score when we were down to 12. Plus, he gave us a very fair crack of the whip last night and allowed us to play.

For me, the glaring problem was, once again, our inability to score when we had the possession/position. The effort was immense, but we don't have the skill or pace to make anything out of that effort - didn't our owner say as much, in his recent interview on LCTV? I fear that this shortcoming may well prove our undoing, in the Middle 8's, unless we can address it very soon.

We were on a team warning earlier, and he didn't act on it when we next conceded penalties. Our yellow cards were both for foul/dangerous play. Leeds went a long spell after the team warning, before they next conceded a penalty - just like us.

Will James Clare be back before the 8s ?? That would give us a pace option

99% now we will be in middle 8 s , still starting positions within the 8 to be won , and that is what most of us expected at the start , fitness and freshness is crucial , sure all the staff are fully aware of what's needed , going to be fun

Obviously not that easy to fix Harold, as it has been the same problem for most of the season - be it down to the coaches or the players

well we turned leeds over so i hope you play as bad against us. we have more injured than you lot but we don't moan about refs and injuries or have a ignorant owner who is wealthy and not outspoken

Even the coaches knew that we would be in this position at the start of the season they are looking to offload some deadwood that on 120 grand a year and do some good recruiting in the off season if still in the SL there a oz half back on the way that can also play 9 and also a young forward who playing overseas will be revealed for the middle 8s
