The winner of the Fev/Bradford gets in and you'd fancy Batley to get over Swinton. If they do slip up then Halifax can overtake them with a win as they have a much better points difference.

Hudds lost today and will finish bottom unless they can somehow win away to Warrington next week, even then because of points difference unlikely to get 4 home games.

Warrington vs Huddersfield

Winner of HKR/Leeds will get 4 home games and even if Salford lose and Hudds win, Salford should still get 4 home games due to points difference.

Not much of an advantage to Salford anyway as they are likely to be outnumbered by Championship supporters.

As you'll know more about the Championship teams, do Swinton present much of a challenge to Batley's chances next week? If not then they're in and Halifax are out.

Earlier this season, I would have backed Swinton, but they seem to have gone 'off the boil' lately. Also, I can't see John Kear allowing Batley to slip up in that one.

I went to the Fax V Fev game today,and for me it was 2 poor teams , granted there was a lot at stake , but Fax were terrible again, Fev not much better, I enjoyed the game though,as I was stood with the vocal Fev fans who made it a good atmosphere.The Fax pack are very ordinary our second choice pack is better , I'm not sure who will make the top 4 but I welcome another game with Fax.Fev play Bradford at Fev next week again a very hard game, I'm cheering Fev in this,a good end to the season.

Hoping Fev win this one (that's not something I every thought I'd say). We're away at whoever finishes 4th & Odsal is always a very tough place to go. We can't afford to slip up once against any of the Championship teams & I think Bradford are more of a threat than Featherstone.

I did Budge, I was with him on Friday for the Sheff v Leigh game , and met him again today and stood with him and all the Fev fans in the North Stand, they made me very welcome, a good set of blokes.Frank went in the South Stand with the Fax fans,winners are grinners as they say.

Frank , Fev last try WASNt a try, the Fev player bounced the ball as he tried to put it down.

The winner could of course finish 3rd - an interesting and expensive day for some teams, defeat could be devastating for Bradford especially.

You're right about the Ref ,Ste it was Mr Childs,I was stood with the Fev fans behind the sticks and even they said it wasn't a try, I was surprised when the Ref awarded it .Having said that it was a poor game, Leigh would have beaten both these teams easily today, very few players impressed me , my MoM was Thackeray, with ball in hand he looked dangerous.Tyrer went off injured with what looked like a broken arm, he was missed for Fax.

I don't know why I just fancy fev to pip them! They have the best halfback of the championship for the last 4 years in Thackeray!! Both tough places to go and win away!

Must have played 3 games for DR club. Between 3 and 7 games can only be at main club or DR club. 8 games or more can play for both!?!?!? That last bit is just stupid

A brilliant end to the league season with 4 clubs going full tilt for 2 spots.
Be tough to call but have to say you'd probably class Batley and Bradford as favourites to join ourselves and London in the middle 8's but it'll be a nervous week for all fans of clubs involved.

Charlie, but you do fail to mention that Fax had exactly the same in the 1st half, either way both are in the record books. Hope to see you again before the end of the year.
