Some good rugby played today from 1 wing to the other wing keep it up lads 10 out off 10.

I wonder if the 3 D/C lads will get back in the team next week.

It most dfinitely was champagne rugby at times and it was a bit of back to last year at others. The move that saw Hilly getting tackled close to their line ( well it looked close from our end) was breath taking and if it had come to a score would have been the try of the season even in SL. The big smile on my face is begining to make my cheeks ache now. I'd like to feel sorry for Widnes but I can't. I just can't.

We played some bloody superb rugby today, as we've shown in flashes in recent weeks. Long may it continue!

I was impressed with the defence apart from 3 blips resulting in 3 tries but to nil them in the 2nd half just shows what we can do ,well done lads very very happy

I'll tell you Ian, you should have heard the Leigh end when the players came to us after the final whistle.
I think I may have to change my season ticket to the North Stand next season. I miss a good sing.

Pretty good on the whole, not a peep out of the Smogs but nowt beats lapping it up to that lot as they slope off with 5 minutes left, and then give the lads a rousing ovation at the end.

Think Duffy was singing along at the end as well. Love it!

I just know if i could have been there i would not be able to speak now with singing so loud.

What would have been lovely would have been for the players to sit while we sing "We love you. We love you"
and for them all to get up and dance when we all go " Oh wow, Oh wow, Oh wowwwwwwwwww Oh wow,Oh wow, Oh wowwwwwww". That would really set us apart from the others.

I dare say i agree there Matt, bet all your voices are ho like mine, belting day singing on the terraces, not heard us that loud since bradford, was honestly unreal, my try call was one of the highlights.

All i heard coming out of the ground from Mutants was they can call us Scouse rejects but at the end of the day next season we're in SL and they're in the Championship. Sorry, needed to get that off my chest. Cracking day though.

A big thanks should also go out the Widnes drummer boy. In the 1st half every time Nanyn took a kick at goal he kindly started to drum at the point of Mick's run up, a bit like when the crowd starts a rythmic clap for the long jumpers at the olympic games. It certainly inspired his kicking. Maybe we should try this at the next home game.

You are all making me jealous, because i couldn't be there.

I would like to see if they win nothing and finish out of the playoff places will they really get a franchise above us if we go all the way? All they have done is win the NRC.
