I wasn't at Barrow myself but good to hear the fans that made the trip made the best of it.

Well I must admit I was thoroughly brassed off at the end but I did join in with the rest. Was shellshock I think.

PS our try by Nanyn was from a forward pass too.

Apart from that the ref had a very bad game.

As for Barrow, it was one of the best atmospheres of the season

To be fair it was captain Mario Melchiot that said they were going to do after the players had a meeting.

I don't know if Whelan had anything to do with it but it's a nice gesture nevertheless however they came to that decision.

I doubt many other Premier League clubs would have done the same.

I think I,ll ring up and say I went and took 3 kids and the grandchildren. I,ll explain we as a family don,t go go regularly but we stayed for the weekend to do some Christmas shopping on Bond St and then onto the game.

Should cover my Christmas expenses quite comfortably and if any other Leythers do the same I would be grateful for a small commission.
