Well I would go for broke and try Mort at stand off.I like Mort but Donlans best position is fullback. Re centres I would, if all fit,opt for Higson/rudd/reay and Nanyn.

Loose forward I personally would go for Aaron Smith if he,s fit but he didn,t come back on Sunday.

Mort no good for wing his best position is full back whereas Donlan can play wing as he did for Cas and how people leave Mort out altogether is ridiculous ,how many points has he scored for us?

What he,s made some of the best breaks from defence of any player this season including several over 70 mtrs Mort offers a lot he s always looking to link up in fact i would have him any day over Donlan whos done nothing this season and you say he offers little in ATTACK

Smith may improve the pace of attack at 9, is Rudd injured? When will Higson be back?

Gateshead are a big set we need to move them around with qtb in what is the first of many relegation battles.

castle will make a massive diffrence this week he is a 80miute prop too he reminds me off peacock how he plays just consitent over the 80 a 100 % improvment on Hobson. We are heading the right way now we need a 6 and we would do very good

If Williams is here for the game....would start with him at 6 and put Durbin on the bench and drop Meekin.

Jay spot on mate with durbin at 6 much better than donlan and ridyard still shows how badly we need williams though

How much pressure is Mr Williams under here!!!! lets just hope that one lad can save a team from infinate doom eh!! Not too much pressure then eh!

I would struggle to leave Reay and Rudd out of the side, both went well at Haven in the reserves and Tony Stewart doesn't have any affect and Maden seems low on confidence aswell. We've loads of backs, and Mort is best suited to FB. I'd have to have Donlan on the wing or centre but we've got to go looking for our outside backs if we've got the proven class of Donlan and Nanyn out there.

We don't have much choice at 6 & 7 Durbin or Riddy at 6. I'd like to see Smith given a go at hooker, Jock isn't doing much at the moment and Armistead could fill the role at 13 with Taylor/Rudd/Leuleui or Reay going in at second row. (Although I prefer Reay at centre myself) Meekin and Castle off the bench. Give Hobson a week off from first team to get his act together.

Donlan is a FULLBACK!!!! why would we play him anywhere else?

Donlan is the best FB in this division and should be played there every game......... use Mort on bench as an impact player and interchange him with Donlan (can cover wing also).

didnt say williams will save us from doom :s but will take the load off watson then with 2 creative halfbacks we can attack both channels instead of realying on 1 halfback all the time
