He does have pace and an eye for a gap. Good hands too. I personally would have liked him to stay.

He was a genuine attacking threat in SL last season, after he had recovered from a terrible pre-season injury. The fact that he's done that in two consecutive seasons is testimony to his courage and determination. There aren't many better full backs who know just when to chime into the attacking line and his positional play on opposition kicks is excellent. Granted, he isn't too hot on returning those kicks, and his defensive play isn't generally strong, but it was no worse than any of our other full backs last season.

He'll have a field day in League 1, and then the Championship, if he stays.

When DR was first brought in players could move either way between the clubs involved in the deal - in fact that was one of its 'selling points'. Not sure why it changed.

All the best Gregg , a quality RL player , always thought we played better defensively when we had him at the back , he marshalled our defence

His worth as a third pivot out wide was huge and he threw many killer passes for try's as well a scoring loads himself , only negative was his daft swan dives

Riddy played through the pain barrier to help us through the eights, he had injections to get him through. His reward, sent out on loan. Gregg trained his socks off to come back much earlier than expected and played well. His reward. Gets released from his contract and goes to Bulls. These must have been Jukeseys decisions. And they say loyalty pays. Just sayin

Classiest Player to have played for Leigh in recent times. Ive said before releasing him was a big mistake unless, he was a trouble maker and, Ive not seen that suggested?
If its KCs decision to release him then we have to accept that and KC must be allowed to succeed or, fail! for what its worth, Jack Owens will never be as good as Gregg McNally! Good luck Gregg I personally will miss appreciating your class plays for Leigh!

He’ll score/create far more than he’ll let in, plus hasn’t someone else more often than not already let them through when you’re relying on the Full Back to stop them scoring?

Always rated Gregg in attack but his defence was his downfall but it is usually when a half back changes to full back. Brilliant under the high ball and can pick out a pass in attack. I am gutted to see him go but there has been massive changes at the club and I guess its a clean slate for everyone. If it was down to me he would still be a Leigh player, good luck Gregg.

Gregg should have been played more at halfback because that’s his best position! We struggled again on Sunday at halfback until Mortimer linked with Hutchison we then became more dominant and threatening with the ball !

Not sure if I agree with that. Gregg is brilliant at coming around the back and giving that last ball. Sunday was a shocking day for half backs and I hope we will see better things tonight.

I don't think we struggled at halfback,we just didn't have recognized halfbacks at times with all the interchanges. Mort's hooker and Hutchison stand off with no scrum half most of the time.

Enjoyed watching McNally and all the best to him. Different beast this squad this season and think he may have been hard pressed to get in it.

We struggled when Reynolds and Hutchinson were together we only got better, when Mortimer and Hutchinson were together!!
Hall was outstanding at fullback so I'm happy with that position!
