Not been for a while, but after watching tonight Fev are going to batter us (assuming we win the next 2 games of course). Using the logic that we then play a Fax team full of confidence after two wins for a place in the GF, can see it being another tough ask TBH.

Well IMO I couldn't have complained if we lost by 20 tonight - we got by on the skin of our teeth, penky was outstaning for the last 30 and they dominated us if we are honest.

And if you think PR has KH sussed - then Powell has us well and truelly in his pocket.

Cut us open maybe, but how many tries did they score from them? The amount of consecutive sets Leigh faced and still held out was incredible, not to mention the quality of some of the scramble defence.

That said, on the original topic, getting knocked about Fev didn't do us much good last year before the Sheffield game, but we're one of five creditable candidates to win the Grand Final, so let's just take it as it comes.

Sheffield were very hard done to not to beat Fev last night and put 60 on them at POR. Fax have already beaten them in league and cup. On another night we should have beaten them at the LSV, and Batley aren't exactly pushovers as they've proven against us time and again. Yes, Fev are justifiably the favourites but they're far from unbeatable.

Well my view is Fax always looked dangerous but Leigh edged it by tackling well most of the time.

One of their tries would never have happened but for that Beswick pass to no one.

Fev away (if we finish second) will be tough but it is one game and anything could happen. To suggest we will get beaten easily is not realistic. The lads will give it their all.

Wish we had subbed Sam 5 mins b4 the end but lets just hope he is ok.

We will then go on to P O R win 24 25, last minute Riddy drop goal, Leythers then get chased out of POR by the mad Fev fans.
Meanwhile Batley and Halifax playoff to play Fev in the elimation semi, Batley beat Fax, Harrison and Kear throw water bottle at each over and end up with a RFL charge.
Fev play Batley in the elimation semi and in the dying seconds Moore who is rumoured to be at Leigh next year slots over a drop goal thats means its Batley v Leigh at Warrington and our buses and coaches can rest assured they will have their windows in on the way home win or lose.

Plan A - send 17 amateurs to Fev and beat Fax/Batley at home following week.

We can't beat Fev at their place, we can on a full size flat pitch.

We do this every year and we lose in the first playoff home game we last got to a final in 2004, let go for it first time, gives us a week off then while Fev and Fax/Batley beat each other up to join us.
