Monday night games, what are your thoughts?

I think it is a kick in the proverbials for fans who actually want to attend games. I hope nobody at the club is encouraging fixtures like Whitehaven away on a Monday night.
Are the Centurions low priority when it comes to Sunday bookings?

Please discuss as we used to.

Sunday afternoon should be game day,end of.

Happy to watch Workington, Barrow and Whitehaven away, on the telly on a Monday night. Sunday is Rugby League day and should stay that way. I would rather stay in the Championship and play on Sunday, than be in Super League and have to cope with Thursday/Friday fixtures.

Home ties on Mondays for me are fine but I've stated numerous times here that away is ridiculous. That Fax and Batley (two of my "must" away ties) were/are on Mondays means I miss out on good beer/food/atmosphere and the home teams miss out on my cash.

Call me old fashioned, short-sighted or lacking in ambition but like the above poster, I'm quite happy to spend my time in the Championship playing home and away on a Sunday and helping to support the other "grass root" "M62" "pit village" teams.

Whilst we need as much exposure as possible this must go hand in hand of the growing of the the game for the young generation, Monday night games will not allow this to happen , saying that not much effort is made to promote this on a Sunday , I know ticket prices are reduced heavily for kids but nothing in the way of a match day experience for them apart from the selfie at the end of the game .
