I saw one that was thrown from North, half way towards east from centre, 3/4 of he way upish landed on the pitch and bounced and rolled to hit McNally on the ankle when we let in our third try early in the game.
I heard one hit a young girl.
Disgraceful, end off.
Life ban required for the perpetrator(s).
We all got frustrated with the team but this is totally unacceptable.
Am surprised by this and share the disappointing sentiment by many on here. I do have to ask though how did a bottle even get to be on the terrace.
As visiting fans we had my wife's bag inspected at the turnstile. Then during the game when I bought a bottle of water it was poured into a plastic cup and I was never given the bottle. I do wonder if security different at different parts of the ground?
Possibly because theres never been an issue of people throwing bottles in North Stand before. The South has had previous issues,as a club you have to show how you're dealing with that.We never had bag searches in the North until Salford fans launched a flare from the South.
Minority spoiling it for all..I do question? the kick off time though, especially on a Saturday.
