It has been a privilege to lead the Players Association this year. To get over 140 members to show their support in not just the association, but also the club shows how important Leigh rugby has been to each of our members during their careers.
We hope you enjoyed the heritage day yesterday - I have had all positive feedback from players and supporters about the day.
The players association aim to raise funds in which we can donate to the club and yesterdays' first donation of £5000 is just the beginning of a long lasting partnership.
Of course, EVERY player who has worn the shirt, whether it be for 1 game or 100 is invited to be part of the association.
