I'd just like to reiterate what Mish has said. I think Trevor has done a wonderful job in what can only be described as very difficult circumstances. To keep the Club going with a certain level of success on the pitch in the last few years has taken an enormous amount of work from all at the Club and Trevor has been the driving force behind this. Of course we still have the usual problems and it is probably the right time for somebody else to drive things forward. However without the input from Trevor over the last 2 years, I am pretty sure this Club would be in a far far worse position than it is now. Whatever your views of Trevor are ( I have heard him compared to Marmite on numerous occassions!!) I think we should all thank him for his efforts on behalf of the Club and give him the respect he deserves in his future role in the Community Foundation.
I too am sad to see Trevor vacate the CEO role and wish to thank him for the energy, drive and commitment he has shown in this job. Indeed, that was what motivated me to to that little bit more for the Club.
My concern is that we do not fill his role quickly as, make no mistake, he was running the club, day to day. It's like the Commercial manager job - we took ages to fill that one, following Richie &Annette's departure and we are still playing 'catch up'. We must replace Trevor asap.
