He was the star player at St Pats at my age group. Top 3 teams were St.Pats who had Leatherbarrow, Blackbrook who had Lee Gaskell and Orrell St James ( 
) and we had Jonny Lomax. They were easily the best 3 players in the area at that age group. Obviously Lomax and Gaskell have gone on to 1st team with Saints but i didn't know what had happened to Leatherbarrow. He was a bloody good player when he was younger, pity he played for Pats
