Agree with the injury comment. We will have a very strong 17 when everyone is fit and we do have strength in depth in a lot of areas, but we do also have a few weak areas. Front row looks ok at the moment, but will look a lot better if Haggerty and Sculthorpe can get fit. The only real area for concern is half back - we have no-one who has any kind of kicking game and do rely a lot on Thackeray to get us going. I think almost all Widnes fans agree that the jury is still out on Thomas Coyle at scrum half and everyone is praying that Chaz I'anson will be a decent player when/if he gets fit. No 9 shirt is also open to question, but Kirk Netherton is looking better the more he plays and youngster Lunt looks lively enough to come on from the bench. Any injuries to Netherton or Thackeray and we would be short for class / experience in their positions as would any more injuries to props.
