Steve is one of the nicest guys you could meet but if a board have shelled out for a tallent rich team like Barrows and they are not performing then you have to look at the coach and his staff. But the board should give a coach and his team time to get the team to work and not just panick.

Why is it no1 is willing to accept that were actually a good unit, yes we had a stinker up at your place, but look at th results since that.
We will be there or there abouts this season.

I have no doubt that Fev too will be right up there. There was always going to be a mix and match time with all the new signings.

Even agree to an extent about your last sentence, and I think it certainly suits us better to be one of the outsiders this season.

I think we are doing well overall, less penalties given away, better defence, and we look like we can be dangerous in attack.

That said, I think we will be even better once the ground firms up and the weather gets a bit better. Our pack is not only big but mobile and fit.

I think robbie and tim will improve as a half back partnership, and duffs has certainly made an impact on how we play.

For me though the biggest improvement I have seen this year so far is Dave Armitstead. Putting him in a running position like prop or second row, seems to have sorted him out, and once people start supporting him regularly we will punch some holes in any teams defence.
