OMG i hadnt noticed that ... just had a look at mine and your right . there is nothing on there that says Leigh Centurions . very curious

I don't like the centurion logo personally & I'm glad we have our crest back on the shirt like it should be. The only moan I have is that I would of preferred the badge to be woven like on the polo shirt.

I think though to be fair they wanted the crest with Leigh RL over the top of it.

I prefer our own identity as a club. How many teams in Leigh use the towns crest? We was asked a while ago about the club name and they decided to keep it because it was more popular than they thought - so now the club badge has been taken off along with the name of our club. Just seems strange to me. The traditionalists seem to like it, and if we sell the shirts who cares its down to preference of course.

I love both shirts but I would have liked the crest and the club logo on opposite sides of the chest like it is on the zip up top that I bought.
