Have you read the list of clubs for the Lions squad? Not one mention of a club anywhere near Salford. Thoroughly depressing.

Can't argue with that unfortunately. As I said, it's thoroughly depressing.

However I remember several people on here making similar comments about Celtic Crusaders, and look how many of their lads there are in that Lions squad already?!

(which makes it all the more depressing that Salford can't get youngsters up to that level)

Chris Bower is another Miners lad that was asked to go, unfortunately had to say no due to university commitments.
