First things first the AUP needs re-writing and needs to include a set of rules that everybody should play by.

Because of the current AUP rules i can't proceed into saying what should be done next.

I have no problems with opinions/slagging off as such, thats what open forums are for, but some threads are so pointless, or derailed to such a point that it becomes a joke. I really do wonder what people get out of posting on forums just to wind people up. Its clearly the problem with letting any idiot on the internet. What can be done as SEB and Lefty have said, is for things to be altered, and idiots barred.

It seems to me (only speaking with little experience of being on here) that this place has a problem with people getting targeted.

Because in general, people either don't think before they post/or are so stupid, that people get fed up with them. Its clearly obvious from about 10posts in, (earlier for some), who are the idiots, and who are the genuine posters. The other thing that really scares me on here, is the appalling use of grammer and spelling. What the hell are people being tought in schools these days? I sound like an old git now, but i'm only 26

Seems there is a lack of respect for other posters and the moderators on here.

I understand a forum is a place of opinions, and sometimes some seem to take their opinion far too serious, and are quite dismissive of others.

Could just be me, though.

It's a bit of that. And a bit of oversensitivity now and again.

And a lack of perspective. If you don't like something that's posted then let it go after a bit of a moan. It's not as if it matters in the scheme of things.

You right to a point, alot of 'topic's' do get derailed. But as for targeting people ... their only having a laugh. Comments that are not ment to funny turn out to be funny cause' someone's just had a play on words but knowone gets targeted.

I totally agree, I use to post quite often and weigh in on some interesting discussion, but it doesn't seem happen anymore. Any decent threads there is always get de railed and end up getting locked. People changing their name constantly is annoying as well.

The mods need to step up and start kicking some ass. Crack down on all these silly rumours about players and like SEB said get back to interesting debates that are based on FACTS.

Prime example would be 'George Best/Casual Des' he's been on here two day and has managed to get away with 70+ posts of pure crap.

I agree with you. Until the other night I rarely posted. I seem to have reached the end of my tether slightly before you.

I find it unpleasant when people use personal insults. For me it's not what a fans forum should be. It's a real turnoff for me.

I know of at least one other person who doesn't post on here because they feel intimidated.

BTW, this post is in no way a go at the Mods, they don't have eyes in the backs of their heads and they do a sterling job.
