Haha. Im just trying to work out how Ron seems to know no one in NRL would take him and why he only chooses not to answer certain questions. Ive not said he was the best in the world but the fact that the Aussies saw him as our threat was a compliment to how they rate him and he is a massive talent!

Im not argueing hes perfect but trying to work out why hes singled out for stuff when there are plenty other players who do exectly the same but its accepted as ok!

He kicked ball off centre spot apparently! Last week when you played Huddersfield, after a wire knock on Solomona went out of his way to pick the ball up and roll into off the pitch behind the advertising boards I didnt see an outcry at that.

He moans at refs apparently but yet on sat Westwood was called out and told to stop swearing at the ref! Sinfield abused a ref when Leeds were in France again its just brushed off!

Hes got an edge to him all great players do thats because they are winners! Like I said I know he does things that wind up and niggle but he isnt alone in SL difference is hes got the undoubted ability to win games on his own which not many players do!

To be fair I think I mentioned Westqood on this thread. The reason I did it is because at the Whelanarena Westwood and Sam had a little bout of hand bags. Yet Westwood jumped to his defence after the Exiles game.

Just goes to show that players leave it in the pitch and show respect when due...... Such a shame some fans can't do the same.

I can only speak about my dealing with Sam Tomkins... I have an 8 yr old who adores Sam and wants her picture taken with him every time she sees him. He is always happy to do so has never been "Billy big bo...cks" and said no time etc. He will stand and sign autographs for anyone who asks. He often stands chatting to people after games also.I'm lucky enough to meet the Wigan players often as my hubby sponsors a player and I haven't met one who ignores the supporters or is rude to them.
Joel is also a credit to his parents and is just like Sam.
Over the years I've met players from most clubs and found most of them really great blokes who are happy to pose for located.
We are to quick to slate someone with talent in our sport. Let's support him when he plays for England no matter what team he plays for. I support any wire player when he is wearing an England shirt. I even like some when they play for wire. As I'm a RUGBY LEAGUE SUPPORTER

now if I'm not mistaken every single player in the 22 man squad had already played international rugby. I think there was only one player who hadn't previously played for 'England' and that was Danny Brough (and he was forced to pull out).

Atkins, Bridge, Briscoe, Carvell, Crabtree, Cudjoe, Graham, Hall, JJB, Morley, Myler, O'Loughlin, Peacock, Robinson, Roby, Shenton, Sinfield, Westwood and Wilkin (plus Brough) have all played international rugby.

That would suggest you aren't telling the truth unless I've made a mistake and missed out someone obvious.

My only concern with Sam is that on the field he can get a little greedy. I think some of the posts about being him stuck up and arrogant are a little unfair. He does interact with other players on twitter and he is always willing to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. But sometimes i think during a game he does get a little too big for his boots and i wouldnt be surprised if someone does react to his behaviour imo.

He's a cracking player and will be for years to come but he has to eradicate his cheating and childish antics out and basically grow up a bit.

So they didn't even socialise with the other Wigan players in the squad? Even though the Wigan players in the Knights squad are some of their closest mates given that they've played and training together for years. And he was fine with the players in the full England squad as had been established. Sounds like the issue is with this unnamed player to me.

Iv known him on a personal level for years and hes never changed. Hes still one of the lads and has time for anyone and everyone. All this hes up his ar*e etc. Is rubbish.
