Why do we need to wait for the scan results when we have one of the best networks of insider knowledge in SL on these boards, i wouldn`t mind betting that a taxi driver somewhere in Warrington will already know the result of Matt King`s scan on Wednsday, what about the friends of cleaners that have posted in the past ? They have usually been spot on, Tony`s spuds as well is another insider sauce thats usually been fairly accurate.

So why do we need to wait for an official announcement on how long Matt King will be out for when someone out there within the insider info network will already know.

Can I just point out that the MRI scan is just to confirm diagnosis, the doctors will already know what the issue is through just an examination and moving the knee.

Really gutted to hear that King's injury could be a bad one, I've enjoyed watching him these last couple of years. Hopefully it won't be as bad as some on here are predicting and he'll be back in the team for the 2nd half of the comp.

Not necessarily if it's the ACL, the MCL (medial) can be pretty much diagnosed before a scan but you can't know whether it's ACL or not until a scan.

According to Tony Smith: Ben Evans has suffered a similar injuiry to King and will have a scan today.

Pleased with the results so far regarding the injury. I'm gutted for him. I have had to pleasure to see Matt King whilst out shopping and in and around the HJ. He is such a nice guy and always has time for a chat & picture. Get well soon Matt.

Well, the worst thing realistic would have been cruciate. So therefore if its anything less than that, it's good news!

That's good news, fingers crossed that Matt is back in the P & B a lot sooner than most of us thought.

iv heard today that he Kingy could be back as soon as 8 weeks!! slight cruciate tear, medial tear, and aslo quad and calf tears, looking at 8 weeks, hope this is true, and its a speedy recovery.
