| I have had the email and completed the survey.
I have a season ticket but I have missed 4/5 of the home games. A couple because of holidays but a couple just because I didn't fancy it. There have been games this season where I have been thinking about leaving at half time. Not because we were behind on the scoreboard because I think we were in the lead but just because it is not entertaining.
I am not bothered about wire winning every game by 50 points, I appreciate tough uncompromising defence just as much as attractive attacking rugby but the longer the season went on the less of that was on offer.
It will be interesting to see what the outcome of this is.
Over recent years the decision to renew my ST has become more difficult. It is strange because as my family has grown up I have more free time and more disposable so it should be a no brainer but for about the last 5 years there was only really the Sandow era that I have felt entertained and enthusiastic to get to the games.
I understand the club may be putting every effort into the holy grail but I think they have got it wrong.

| Its a weird one, as i went to thr game but was in the north stand, as a mate had a ticket going spare.
As i drove home from leeds there was no way in the world i was going to attend but then sunday night i was online and trying to buy a ticket for my members card for a friend and i, that ticketing site is e, so i gave up taking it as a sign. Then the freebie popped up.
I mentioned that Thursday nights are poor, almost as bad as the failed Monday experiment. I often dont watch matches on a Thursday night, and very often forget about them at the start of the season.
That being said, cheap tickets bell and whistles and whatever day of the week, we would have got a crowd based on the form for the last 3 months of the season, which was getting worse and worse every game.

| You'd pay good money to watch us 2011-2015, Sandow was also worth the admission money alone (love him or hate him). I don't think it's JUST our fault though - the game itself has gone stale and we're just playing a really poor version of it - perfect storm of banality. I go to a handful of games a season now and I'd even think twice about a season ticket if it was dropped to £100. My 11 year old refuses to come with me as he states rugby is boring and I cannot give him the argument I used to passionately give from the mid 80s-2012.

| Some of my best ever experiences watching Wire were when I was crammed into the Fletcher St, singing and shouting (occasionally swearing) and generally being motivated by the events 'on the park'.
We seem to have lost sense of this, and instead got too caught up with the 'fluff' surrounding the matchday.
Bring back the original Wolfie and his rubber chicken - job done.

| I walked out of the HJ 4 seasons ago having held a season ticket for many decades(I'm an old flatulent) and had started walking out 15 / 20 minutes before the final hooter being bored witless and returned to the car and listened to the radio, I had to remain having giving lifts to a couple of mates. Should the sport become entertaining again I'll be back but I'm not expecting that day to dawn anytime soon.

I'm exactly the same. A few years ago with about 30 mins left in a meaningless dull game at home on a Sunday, I just realised I wasn't enjoying it and left.
It's only nostalgia that keeps me remotely engaged with the club. At some point I should probably stop giving a toss about how the Wire get on.

| We're on TV enough for people to form opinions without attending.
In the old Div 1 and early days of Super League if there were 6/7 matches of a weekend there would be at least one cracker of a game and a couple of other games that were very good. Genuinely when was the last absolutely cracking SL game anyone witnessed? I haven't seen one this season, apologies if I've missed one. It still can be done - Manly v Melbourne was an absolutely brilliant game a few weeks back, we needs these matches back in this country.

No you do not understand correctly my opinions are formed on ...
Some games in person.
Sky Tv.
BBC Tv.
Radio Warrington commentary
SL Highlights.
News / Warrington Guardian.
Social Media.
Probably seen 10-15 games, and listened to the rest this season. That's enough for me to form my opinion which is Price is a limited head coach, seemingly without the ability to influence results consistently and we have a squad that is playing woefully under it's capability producing some of the most dull RL since I can remember.
Am I way off?
PS - Why did you single me out - other posters have said they have stopped attending regularly.

I read your post as a reply to BBHO and in those circumstances I queried whether you were actually watching games as I read it as otherwise. You have clarified. As to why I ask you specifically, well it’s because you are a particularly strident critic of just about everything the club does. I can’t recall the last positive post from you.
As it happens I DO agree that Price is not the man to take us forward, but I’m not going to fall out with anyone who disagrees as I have been wrong on many rugby related issues on many occasions. There is a reason I don’t do the predictions, I’m likely to be more wrong than Matt!

Totally agree with you been 4 games all season Leeds cas hull Wembley the product is naff..the days when we had Phil Blake's chip over regather and score were real quality..to me no one tries it watching johnny woods Andy Greg mark Roberts dessie were enough to entertain on a cold Sunday afternoon... Its barge up the middle and a hopeful high kick.boring as hell..there's more negatives I could point out but I'd be here all night...

| Quote ="karetaker"Well according to the fans forum I attended they are more interested in the entertainment, I stand to be corrected but if I heard right when I said it depends on what is happening on the pitch the reply I heard was we are trying to move away from that. My interpretation of it means they want us to be cheerful having fun even if we getting hammered 80-0.
If you want stadium filling win games and win them well, play poor and people won’t come. Save money turn the fancy lights off.'"
I wasn't there, and you don't state who made this rremark about 'moving away from what happens on the pitch'. The directors are all too aware that a mix of success and stylish rugby is what brings in most fans, and they are not content ( to say the least ) with the status quo. They DO want to add other levels of entertainment to the mix as this is what allows 'fringe fans' to give the HJ a try.

| As someone who didn't renew his ST this season becse of the standard of games, perhaps I could be allowed to comment. I went to the Hull game this season and left with 10 minutes to go as I was bored witless with the style of play, the timewasting tactics of Hull and th lamentable standard of refereeing. Having watched last night's game from Salford, I think we should rename RL as the Run at a brick wall five times and kick league. It is boring, unentertaining, and would not persuade me to go to another Superleague game

| At The Jungle soft play centre event we told Claire Gamble that we thought the atmosphere was flat, and the match day experience was dull.
We got told we were wrong and that the atmosphere was fantastic, and also how amazing the drummers were.
My future brother in law was asked what his job was, when he said “Driver” he was laughed at, she then said to someone else “Driver, what does he know about marketing?”.
Well with all your Marketing knowledge Claire you got such a poor attendance for a playoff game. Now you’ve got to listen to the fans, who won’t all be Marketing experts.

OK fair enough. I was positive before the CC Semi Final and then after the CC win for a while but it's true I am massively disillusioned with the game in general and Wire in particular.
I find it's quite difficult to be positive when you see dull performances, poor results, failure of youth development, young players being ejected out of the club, long serving players treated poorly, battering ram wingers, derisory crowds, baffling recruitment etc.
On a positive I did enjoy watching Salford play last night - not the flair but the togetherness and spirit.

| Can’t say I’m angry at all this season, still buzzing after winning the cup.
We won the CC final against our local rivals in the biggest game between the two clubs in Rugby League history at Wembley stadium live on the bbc
Fantastic achievement.
For that reason alone this season will be legendary in Warrington RL folklore.

Oh the irony when Claire Gamble was working on reception at DW Sports a couple of years ago until her fella got her a job at Warrington because of who he knew.
