| I'm pretty sure if the same incident was roles reversed the Warrington crowd would have got animated too.

| I think Atkins was clumsy but its was not intensional, even so, it was up to Atkins to put himself in a better position during the tackle.
There was contact with the head off the shoulder, penalty. No complaints from me, Huddersfield Friday night.

| He made contact with the head, penalty, simples. No complaints from me either, except that we see plenty of contact with the head every week that goes unpunished.
As an aside, if Wilkins brain/neck was so badly hurt that his legs started to twitch involuntarily then the medical staff at Saints should consider getting him tested thoroughly and resting him for a week or two. If it was deliberate to make the injury/contact appear worse than it was then the RFL need to consider resting him for a week or two. Neither, especially the latter, is going to happen of course.

| Nar he milked it. If he said he didn't he's a liar.
It was Wilkin's answer to going down in the box and rolling over 6 times then grabbing a knee.

| To be fair, I may be being a little harsh on Wilkin, but then I don't care as he's an annoying dirty scrote who only gets away with it time and again due to being the RFLs BBC poster boy.
But I'm getting fed up of seeing players from most clubs, though Catalan seem to be the worst for it, going down and staying there as if they've been knocked out cold after any head contact yet their medical staff rarely seem to feel the need to take them from the field for a head test.

To be fair to the Saints medical staff, Wilkin was taken from the field and not brought on again, he also (apparently) spent the night in hospital for precautionary reasons (according to some fans on the Saints RLFC fan page on Facebook)

Not many blokes I despise more by what he does on the pitch than this bloke. ....
I saw the leg twitches and was actually quite concerned for him , then when he was told the stretcher was on he jumped up. .
This kind of is not for me and I do hope someone pulls this lover to task over this.

Yeah the same hospital Darryl Powell sent one his players to with a suspected broken jaw after a "disgraceful" Warrington tackle. ..
They couldn't find the broken jaw but we're willing to fix Powells mard lip...
Don't think it was NHS. .. but sounds like a good hospital

The Cas incident was worse IMO because of the rumpus kicked up by Powell

| Very surprised he didn't cop a ban for that. It was very deliberate and his third clear (and sly) shoulder charge of the night.
The RFL disciplinary committee's report states he made a valid attempt to tackle? I can only assume then that shoulder charges are back on the menu? No arms involved, just point of shoulder onto the base of Wilkin's skull. Dangerous? Yes. Reckless? Yes. Shoulder? Yes. Deliberate and unnecessary contact with head only? Yes. I'm not sure what criteria the RFL use, but it's all got very weird over at Red Hall this year. The impact wasn't very severe so I'm not suggesting any more than 1-2 games depending on his rap sheet, but to suggest it was a valid tackle is bizarre.

Which may or may not be true, it's all about opinions I suppose.
However, according to the number of posts accredited to your user name, a mighty 7 in a year and judging by the quality of this one, a coin might not be the only thing you're tossing?

| Bloody hell, wilkin looks good for someone that was unconscious, and twitching and then spent a night in hospital due to a head "injury"
He didn't even get a concussion related 7 day mandatory rest.

Was there a load of twitching from the tackled player? Or did he just get up and get on with it because he's not a total ?

| Saints players lack of commitment last night compared to the Friday before was obvious. Old 'Poundland Jack Black' even questioned the attitude of his senior players. Catalan outplayed them from start to finish.

Roby and Wilkin.

I know which one of those 2 thinks the most of himself and he is one of the most overrated players in rugby league (the other is very good, seems to be a model professional and is recognised almost yearly in a certain shortlist). I really hate seeing wilkins punditry, maybe he is who PJB was talking about in his bitter rant last night? There could be a bit of a situation between them?

Well you see the thing is Mr Smart Ass, I had an account previously with quite a few posts and I forgot the password, I asked for help with it but none was forthcoming, so I re registered and do not post much as this forum seems to be populated by people not unlike yourself with smart mouths and I do not want arguments with people because I can not be bothered, but those 2 are particular lacking in much of the way of positive postings without to resorting to some cabbage that they spout, something that I have noticed YOU too can be particularly fond of as well, so I am sorry that I do not post endless clap trap just to get my post count up.
I do not particularly claim to know you but I have come to the conclusion that mostly the space between your ears is a total vacuum and the need to take any notice of a relative of an amoeba is very low down my list.
Carry on .
