Are you not underestimating Bradford a little by only naming 3 subs?

I'd at least go with four subs!

looking at those 2 squads its hard to see Bradford getting anything from the match.

There could be some very red faced people on here Sunday night. Hkr have been rubbish all year and look what happened there.

With 20 minutes left at the HJ is was difficult to see the Pies getting anything out of the game - then.........

Bradford were in the game against Leeds for quite a while, without Orford - they WILL be better against us - lets just hope something similar to the Pies game doesn't happen!!!!

I'm not disputing the fact thats 'its a funny old game'.. im just saying on paper it looks like an uphill task for Bradford.

No kearney or langley and orford facing a late fitness test... doesn't bode well for them.

With Orford that looks a dreadful team, if he fails his fitness test then you're talking as poor a Bradford team as I have ever seen. I don't want to get too cocky but its hard not to looking at the respective squads - its just the Silverwood and Osdal factors that stand between us and a Challenge Cup semi.

All very true, but the games I've gone to, with us in really good form, no injuries, playing a Stains, Pies, Bulls or whatever team that have lost 2 or 3 in a row, with massive injuries, or resting 9 players because they're playing in the Challenge Cup Final the week after, and we still get battered - I think those days have gone thanks to Smith, but I'm always the pessimist...count our chickens and all that !!!

Looks like we have a good team to face Bradford, think cooper should play he's turning out to be a great player!!! And am glad we have Monners back for this match!!!!

I'm not saying we shouldn't be confident but stranger things have happened!

So long as our wits are about us, this should be us through to the semis I feel. If Orford's a doubt, then it will be very hard for Bradford to really see anything in this game.

With our team, my only worry would be us missing Myler, but we seem to have survived without him OK for the past few weeks. Lets hope that carries on.

For those of a more "older vintage" , I'll remind you of an away game against HKR about 1982/1983. HKR were winning/runners up in just about everything in that period, we went to their place with 9 players missing, more walking wounded than an army, and no Colts team (there's old terminology for you) to speak of, so we played a team of old men, A-teamers and youngish talent, and we still came away with a creditable draw.

We cannot take a depleted Bradford side, away from home, lightly. I'm still quite fretful over this one. If we're 20 points up with 10 minutes on the clock left, then we can all rest a little easier.

In my memory, no game has ever been won by two top level teams, before a ball has been kicked.

I`ll suggest what i suggested for the Leeds game, play Mathers at stand off with Riley at full back and leave Grix at 13 and Bridge at right centre to do what they do best.

I'd go with the same team as last week, with the exception of Higham instead of Mitchell on the subs bench. Having Vinnie on the bench means that we cover quite a few positions i.e. hooker, 2nd row, centre & scrum half

Both teams missing a few key players yet still on paper ours looks alot stronger, shows just what a good squad we have.

But Bradford had that same team bar Reardon out and maybe Orford in this week playing against Leeds and it was all easy going for 80 mins, we need to go into this game with the same mindset we did against Hudds in the last round and really go out there an show just how much we want to keep the Cup.

Lot of hubris

shown in recent posts. Going to be a tough old game even if we are bookies favourites. We have conceded 46 pts over the last 2 games (23 per game avg). We cannot do the same at Odsal and expect to win with such confidence.

Just let Tony pick and rotate the team and all we have to worry about is being there and being the barmy army to sing the wire through to the semi final, Smith knows what he is doing.

Am never confident with cup games,its just that fear of a liitle mistake your out the cup.League games you know you get another chance to put things right.
