More like this season has been the result of the previous four!!

We have taken backwards steps in recruitment and coaching set up

What's making it even more frustrating that the club have not acknowledged any kind of issue or that this is not good enough and what they intend to do to resolve the issues

It's just not happening, if it was going to happen, it would have happened already. He has a contract to the end of 2018. Agar will go at the end of the year to appease some of the discontent. Briers will be brought in to fill the gap.

Behind the scenes they will be looking to bring someone in for 2019, if we smash the first 6 rounds next year, maybe they will start thinking a new contract for TS, but I think his days are numbered. I don't know why we get the continued calls for him to leave, what's the point, it isn't happening.

Next year is the transitional season!

I think that would be my guess as well. SMJ is a long term planner so either taking this off season, or the 2018 season to get his ducks in a row look, to be his likely moves. It will be interesting to hear if Moran is taking any trips to Oz over the next few months.

There seems to be a huge assumption (long term planning - transistional season etc) that we're staying up. I'm not completely convinced we'll even qualify for the MPG at the minute. If i was a betting man, and I am, I'd have us nailed on for at least the MPG. I'd fancy all the SL clubs, HKR and possibly London to do us. Just look at the points F&A columns.....it's woeful.

I can, just about, see the logic in keeping Smith until the end of the season and hoping to scrape home but after that Moran has to act and sack him otherwise he'll be looking at the lowest season ticket numbers since we left Wilderspool.

You need some sorting out and to get some form. In the qualifiers as things go the 4 top Champ sides appear to be playing well. I am not saying they are all strong enough to beat you but away from home in Hull London or France will not be a walk in the park. Now if it stays as it is Widnes loom like they have found some gorm Leigh are bit of an enigma and Catalans new coach etc. Vould be a tough time. Every game is a cup final good luck.

Barring a few players in an inconsistent manner have performed well this year yet have shown what they are capable of in the Brisbane game !! Wcc hangover confidance form structures or lack of are all well and good but the issues have not been addressed or seen any changes or attempt to play differently and not a peep from the club as they are thinking wait till you see who we've got lined up for players on their way in or they are waiting for confirmation of middle 8s and will start proceedings to move smith n agar on and bring in a new coach !!

The notion of because the elite coaches are not available then we should just keep on with smith !! We can sign a coach for on a two year contract whilst we search for his long term successor! Someone who can work with the players we have or the new players we sign, if we sign the right players then it shouldn't matter too much if a coach has signed them or not so I wouldn't read too much into hiku meaning smith is staying I cannot see how the club can accept this seasons performances and not do something about it !!
