Despite Williams' freakish talent, I would not welcome him to the Wire with open arms. Any man who could walk out on his team mates this season like $onny / Dollar Bill did should not be trusted. IMO he would be another mercenary, someone we could do without. |

Whats the hold up with getting Hannay in? Can the club not even sort out a simple transfer. If we'd had him in time for the Salford game we might have got a draw, he probably would have kicked the goal at the end |

i think leeds are a bit thin on the ground in the youth department now they seemed to all come through at once wire how ever have an abundance of talent about to burst onto the scene so the future looks bright for us
Taking teenagers from the National Leagues and progressing them into international players is an impressive achievement.
Why try to demean Saints achievements both on bringing through players through their own academy set up, and finding fresh young talent in the lower leagues and helping it to progress? At the moment the only other club who is up there with Saints on that front is Leeds - if there were 14 SL clubs doing the same and producing talent at the same rate then we would be giving the Aussies a much tougher run for their money. We should be looking at this as a model for ourselves not trying to rubbish it.
I am sure if you asked John Bastian and Tony Smith what their views are on Saints record of junior development they would both say it was outstanding and was the type of thing they are aiming for at Warrington. If we produce a Wellens, Roby and Graham in the next decade that will do for me.'" |

Mmm. Under Tony we have won 3/7 Saints League games (1 at home). Does that constitute "regular" I guess it's more regular than our previous 3 coaches' records. |

Compared to zero wins in about 10 years then yes, I'd say that's regular. I think beating them in playoff games also counts in a way. |
