I used live in Brighouse, and the local chippy used to do this folded kebab thing. It was mint, all day drinking session followed by said item.

It was a twelve inch pizza base, full of doner meat, hot chilli sauce, and salad. Had about 3000 calories in it before they added the cheese! They baked it in a pizza oven (one of them coveyor belt thigs), and it would come out looking like a rugby ball.
