I suppose I remember my two late grand fathers who were both big fans.

My father in law shed a tear when Lee was mentioned as the Lance Todd winner.I think after him watching 40 + years of Wire,he knew there was no better person than Briers to win that award.And after the years he has watched Wire than i think the father in law knows Briers is one of the legends of Warrington RL Club.And rightly so in my book.

I went mental at the semi, especially when Hicks went in for the winning try. I don't remember shedding a tear that day, although I do remember trying to sleep in the garden of the Cricketers Arms

Sort of, luckily my eyelids are so manly they stopped any spillage but it was close.

could feel the tears welling up in my eyes, and then some scum decided to start fighting in the row in front of me and completley spoiled the moment

I will put my hand up, i shed a tear, this is a very emotional time for for me though as my dad passed away 2 years ago on 30th August 2008 and as this is also my birthday it takes the pain away a little to see the club i love succeed on this weekend especially and long may it continue

rubish, you joined a thread about positive ventilation of feelings ie, crying due to hightened emotions and totally derailed it by saying how you were about to cry then someone ed on your parade!

my eyes went a bit watery at the end when sir adrian went back down the winners rostrum to that little kiddie who he picked up...these blokes who play a really tough game show another side..i.e. briers and riley...earn my utmost respect...

Cried like a baby. Just like last year and 1990( but for the opposite reasons as a spotty teenager) I think it is Wembley that does it. And the beer I suppose. Great feeling though

I felt like crying at the final whistle and when i saw morley with his kid but i didn't want to cry as my mates were not going to cry probably ha plus one was a saints fan so he was never going too haha

maybe i should go the next final we make with fatbelly so i can let my emotions go aswell

I didn't cry but there was a hell of a lot of grit knocking around Wembley on Saturday that kept getting in my eyes. They really should sort that out with an £800 million stadium...

Did last year, but didn't this year. I was more amazed this year than anything. I did one of those moments where you lift your head up, hands on your hips and just slowly, very slowly look around the ground and take in what we have just achieved.

Needed to be sent to the VR. Looks like he didnt ground it properly AGAIN

I admit I blubbed. Mrs was shocked at the sight of me. In 8 years we've gone from a virtual bankrupt mess attracting less than 3000 some years ago to a club that is a major force in the game. If we get to Old Trafford and win I fear I may drown in my own tears! Just wish a few members of my family who were life long Wire fans were still around to see it.
Absolutely fantastic Wire and I hate to say it I didn't think we would win. Should have had more faith in TS and the boys.
