To be fair, we didn't dominate in all areas - Wigan matched us in the goal kicking area. Both teams had 100% success rates.

I prefer to judge it when it is 17 vs 17 rather than 17 vs 13/14 - those injuries killed us against you.

You'll find we fully deserved our victory, we won in the forward battle, injuries or no injuries.

I haven't said you didn't deserve to win. All I have said is playing over 40 minutes with only 2 interchanges and then the last 20/30 minutes with 1 interchange takes its toll on the pack and as such comparing the two on this game is a bit unfair.

... with respect I can only compare the current packs based on the 1 game we have played you this season, our pack won the day.

Play off game is not bad, but I'd take the challenge cup too and you more than deserved it on the day.

The point was about the packs and who had the better one, we can all bring historical games, results, but it's this season that counts and based on the game we played this season, ours came out on top.

well funny enough i remember us dominating the game but as we do in big games every season our half backs choke in key positions. but as i was saying on our day we have the best the pack

Great post. Lockers still best 13 in the league, he gave an interception in a game which was already dead and we were just trying everything.

In response to the thread, I didn't think you forwards were totally dominant to be completely honest, we just got completely owned in the kicking game and out wide. Our completion rate was just plain horrible with so many unforced knock ons so early in the tackle count, which in turn meant that you got so much territory before you even started your set.

You definately played well but it was also pretty obvious that we were just awful, and not just because you made us look that bad, we just were that bad.

Definately the team to beat at this stage though, said it before the game that you were in top form and we were just plodding through games.

Didn't see much from Ben Harrison though, I still think the sooner he moves up to prop and is spelled as such the better.
