The short time that Inglis played at full back and how he coped makes me think that a cup game v. Cats is not the time to take the chance.

He’ll only get better with rhythm though. Playing him then taking him out the team and then playing him again will do no benefit.
You could see his influence off the ball today, organising and always talking.

The fact that there probably is only a few better than him is a sad indictment of the standard of rugby league at the moment.

| 2 Questions,
1.How did Sita do, Did he look ok or was he back to huffing and puffing after 10 mins?
2. When hughes moved to right centre who took his place at 2nd row?

| Well that will do. Hull KR are a decent side and we came through it, we certainly scored enough points today anyway and I expected to leak a few against a good attacking side who will have been confident after their last 2 matches. Hull KR will turn up to have a go everywhere this season, Lord Tony is doing a great job for them.
I couldn't watch it and didn't get a good idea off the radio how we played but a good result anyway.

I don't think so, although I do think he's even better at 2nd row.

This.
Inglis first touch as FB took the ball up better than any player ive watched recently and I include Ratch in that. He took the ball full on and ran forward. Made plenty yardage. This then influenced the forwards down the middle and we score.

He wasn’t even the best right centre today. Hughes covered while King switched to the left, until that point, King stunk the place out. He was great on the left though..
Hughes stopped the flood at that point.

| 'And I include Ratchford in that' implies he returns the ball well, the difference between Ashton and Inglis' kick returns and Ratchfords were huge. Today Ratchford knocked a ball on whilst on the floor with no-one near him....led to a try, threw a ball into touch under no pressure, gave away a needless six more on the last leading to another try amongst other aberrations. We shuffle everyone around and no-one EVER considers dropping him....even to the bench. Wire played well today, very good win. I'd want Inglis or Thewlis at FB if Ashton out.

| King was like a fish out of water on the right.
That was a strange situation with Sita . He copped a big hit straight after the 2nd half kicked off & had an assessment on the field ,played on then went off a few minutes later straight down the tunnel . He played a lot more minutes today though & got some decent carries in.

Nobody thinks to drop him because he is a top player. He knows cause the opposition problems, the more players you have that are able to do that the more you stretch them, the more mistakes they make, the more opportunities you have and in theory the more sets you get and points you score. He's incredibly consistent and has never complained or given a poor performance when he's been shifted around all over the place.

| If we're going to be without Ashton then it's a straightforward swop with Inglis; yes he will still be rusty but we're talking about a great of the modern game here, not Bob Smith from Runcorn Highfield. At least he'll see plenty of the ball at FB.
Inglis
Lineham
Mamo
King
Charnley
Rathford
Widdop

| Duckie, I would have Hughes in the back line only in emergencies as he stops every attack dead in its tracks by continually coming inside.

| Yeah, I'd move Mamo back into centre and have any two of Charnley, Lineham, Ashton, Thewlis on the wings. Hughes back in the pack.

Hughes is a very accomplished centre. Not saying he’s a star centre, but he isn’t a revolving door. We were rolling forward after the switch all over the pitch but for one error blip....
Did what I said would happen ‘smashed’ them.
I’ve no issue with Mamo and Lineham btw. I’m a big Lineham fan. We’d have to lose a forward to accommodate him.

But ideally you want your centre to offer more than secure defence, especially if you have ambition.

| I would have thought that we will have Charnley, Lineham, Mamo, Inglis and King available for Friday, so no need to use Hughes in the back line.
We shouldn't be shipping 5 tries in a match, and ought to defend better.
