Well being top of the league there's not much else to moan about... And as we all well know, us Wire lot love to have a moan! Plus if you played a song like it wasn't jacked up on speed we might actually join in with you.


So you need a drum to sing? If you're moaning the atmosphere is turd, try shouting a song to start it up. Don't wait for the drummer/child.


I don't think we're wanted at away games. We're not part of the "I love drums" clique. It's as though I've not missed an away game in 3 years... Oh wait... Remember some fans go to watch rugby and not shout or sing, just a thought?

If you're obsessed with drums so much, take it up as a career. Its the fact that the drummers at the games are about as skilled as Dean Gaskell was at running forward which bores people. God you kids wind me up off the clock.

FWIW I love a sing song as much as the next person, and I'll kick off some chants every now and again; you're not the life and soul of the party, young one!

the drummer in the middle of the south stand is not a child but not sure about the drummer near the away fans he might be but age should not be a problem

I believe this to be the young drummer, i admire your confidence and you obviously love the club but can we not agree to it as a drum at home and not away our vice verser?

Good to see the underwater stream getting a mention. I think that is the reason the Bevan Wall has got be moved.

Nothing wrong with artificial aids if used in the proper manner (or unproper manner come to that). If it all helps to enhance the experience to make it a more memorable one then why not ?

dunno, I shall have to conduct some experiments & report back. I do know that approaching a large lady from the Joel position can result in some hilarious boob clapping. Perhaps a recording of this played loudly at the match may be a suitable alternative to the drums ?

I wouldn't want them (or any band) at our games, just as I don't want the drums now, but I find that strange if its a bunch of Wednesday fans regularly playing the Leeds United anthem at Headingley.

I don't care how old or young the drummers are. I go to the stadium to watch the rugby. If I wanted to listen to drums I'd go to a gig. I don't think the drums help with atmosphere, it's just a loud annoying noise.

And as for 'if you don't like the drums don't come to the game' - I thought you supported the team? Take away the drum haters and the club would struggle (or do you expect Mr Moran to pick up the shortfall in income?)

The only thing I dont like about the drummers is the crap songs they come out with and drum along do. That 'Found a Peanut Yesterday' song is appauling.

I go to watch the rugger... could have John Squire slamming out a tasty riff for all i care..
