For me the teams were evenly matched until the referee put his blinkers on. Then once Hull were 18 points up he then took them off. Terrible refereeing but there not a lot you can do about that.

Thaler absolutely ruined that game, when we were forced to put ratchford to stand off we looked miles better. Few mistakes but BMM was good for me. Hard to bag our lads given the officiating to be honest, most of our mistakes were born from trying to force thaler to officiate properly, faster PTB etc. Not good enough at completing sets and keeping our ball but a game totally ruined by Ben Thaler, superleague will never go anywhere with the standard of officiating that we have, absolutely diabolical, I would lose my job for being that bent.

I was impressed with BMM once he cut out his errors. Plus our character was pretty decent to forge that come back.

Yes, maybe Thaler was one eyed, but every penalty he gave against us was because we did something illegal under the rules of the game. Whether Hull did the same thing (& got away with it), really doesn't matter - our discipline has to improve and then the ref won't have anything to give a penalty for..

Once you stated to play the ball fast we struggled and then gave away a few ourself.

Both red cards were fair enough, didn't really help too much thought as it took Connor out of the action, where he was causing problems.

Ok..is he good enough for a top 6 SL side? Personally i think he's nowhere near and, like patton, never will be.

Never in a million years or alternative universes would he be pulling on a Saints, Leeds, Wigan or Hull jersey. Yet there he is in our backline posing zero threat and giving away stupid penalties.

As someone on Facebook said our backline recruitment has gone from shopping at Harrods Food Hall to penny pinching at Aldi.
