| I think the players, coaching staff need to take a good luck at themselves. For me Atkins, Asotasi, Laithwaite, Bridge, England all need to go. I do not understand why Smith started with Asotasi and not Hill. I'm all for people having a rest but i'd rather give Hill a rest next week than today. Hill gives us something that no forward as done at all and that's yards, good field position. As soon as Hill came on today we scored 2 tries in 3 minutes. Sims his here for an holiday as I've seen nothing of him as of yet. How can we go from spanking Leeds twice to getting beat by a poor average Hull team I don't know. I'm not even confident for next week now.

Leeds have got one eye on their position and they are wrapping Sinfield up in cotton wool, while stepping Sutcliffe up in games that are currently less mean full.
We played a Leeds team without Sinfield and Burrow for a long period... since then Leeds poor form had continued against Huddersfield for the same reason.
If Sinfield and Burrow started v Wire they would have completely smashed us.
.'"
Don't be fooled by that mate.
Sinfield does not get into the Leeds team due to his poor form and Burrow must be doing something for the coach as he has been totally gash all season and should be nowhere near the 17.

| Was interesting watching you as a neutral today. Plenty of good things, Higham is still a dangerous player, Ratchford is a constant threat. I thought Westwood was really quiet, how he got MOM was bizarre, presumably the sponsors didn't know any of the other names? Laithwaite, Asotasi and England were by far your best forwards today, Sims was very poor and so was Hill. Talking of Hill, is he injured? Nothing like the player he was last season. You still need a proper halfback, Patton is no better than O'Brien.

You were presumably facing the back of whichever stand you were in. The action took place on the green stuff. Westwood and Hill were excellent today.

Asotasi had an Hour and half's rest between his stints. He came on at three o'clock went off at quarter past three, and returned at half past four...........he can off for me......he's the biggest single house ever to play in our shirt....

| As i saw it Westwood was good, Laithwaite was okay, Asotasi excusing that early knock and short spells on the pitch was the best prop, Hill was okay. England okay, Harrison looked completely knackered.?
Sims couldn't break flatulence but still stank, extremely costly with errors. One that swung the whole momentum when we were 10 points up with 10 mins to go.

| I am becoming really fed up with these lacklustre performances. Where was the enthusiasm, the flair, the offloads, the defence? Atkins was a waste of time as was Sims and Asotasi and Laithwaite. What is Myler for. Shovelling the ball along the line without asking any questions of the defence. Where is the speed off the defensive line as we had against Leeds?
And a word on Mr Silverwood. I don't mind if a referee is consistent with his decisions, but penalising us on our own line for offside when he ignored Hull in the same position. I am getting disillusioned with the game being ruined by refereeing incompetence.
Am I wrong or have we lost all our flair since Agar joined us?

We'll be up nowhere challenging for nothing. We're dead on a 6th/7th placed, mid-table average side.

| I wasn't blaming Silverwood for our defeat, just pointing out that refereeing inconsistencies are really peeing me off.
Our loss was our own fault, and we need a goal kicker sharpish.

| That was a shockingly bad performance and the worst (most irresponsible) display I have ever seen from Atkins. If we had not somehow managed a very late score against Widnes we would have been looking at two wins from our last nine games by now.

| Kicking...I think we should have bought Danny Tickle when he left the Pies.
Correct W/O the form against Leeds has held up....we looked far better playing a weak Leeds outfit who's losses performances since have been below expectations, but they are playing with only one of their three main pivots.
Wakefield only just managed to put 17 against us and only had one fit prop.
Widnes lost it, as opposed to us winning it.
The 3 wins we've had have clear excuses. Our form is pathetic.

| Ten years ago I'd would definitely have had Tickle.
Every good team can carry an excellent goal kicker, but Tickle was actually a very good back rower.
He was ever present at the Pies until his confidence was completely shattered.
He soon refound his form.

| Well glad I didn't go today.
300 mile round trip saved and all the petrol and time.
Did a good bit of work in the garden and then had a swim. Really tired now.
Probably done more work than some of the players by the sounds of it!
Sounds like we've got more than a bit of work to do.
The way things are going it might be some time before I go again.
Don't mind if we lose whilst playing well (although not keen on it !), but to lose and play cr@p is not acceptable.
Actually though the best side in the comp at the moment are Wigan. Their youngsters are top rate and I can't see past them at the moment.

| Quote ="the flying biscuit"while I agree with all your post this is the one that needs addressing on Monday. Atkins was stepped nearly every time a defender took him on. he was lethargic for the entire game. ... the worst player on the park by a country mile. ...'"
As I've said before, it's VERY rare I come on here and slag a player, but I'm sick to the t1t5 with this waster.
Something like 20 mins in, we work the ball towards the left, Atkins takes the pass, and has a SIMPLE pass to make to Ormsby (who had a probable overlap). BUT NO, old glory boy tries to be Superman, gets tackled, loses the ball in the process, and Hull work the ball down the field. 5 tackles later, they're in for one of the day's poor defensive tries given away.
20 odd years ago, when Duane Mann left, we replaced him with John Thursfield, a player so Godawful, opposition fans didn't even bother to take the micky out of him. BUT, I can honestly say, but for his lack of any RL skill, the fella certainly wasn't lazy. He always tackled (even if it was third man) and always "put a shift in". Paul Cullen was never a half back as long as he had a hole in his bum. Not exactly a decent centre either . But again, NEVER EVER shirked responsibility or effort.
FFS, Atkins has international caps. I can tolerate a dip in form. Every player has them. But this waste of space just "does it" when he wants, and that's nowhere near often enough, imo.
I know you have a thing with Asotasi, biccy, but Atkins (most of the time) really does make my pooh itch. I just wish he'd love off. I don't care if he scores the match winning try in a GF/CCF. I CANNOT TOLERATE LAZINESS IN A WIRE SHIRT.
To quote Oliver Cromwell
"You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately... Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!"

| Quote ="lefty goldblatt"Complete faeces, Warrington. To lose against the most average Hull side I've seen in Super League history, is a disgrace.
To let a 35 year old stand-off stroll around, untouched, is laughable. Price had time to prune his roses before a finger (if a finger) was laid on him.
We didn't look interested from minute one. We rarely contested any long kicks. We just let Hull return the ball at their own pace.
Oh. If anyone can tell me what Ryan Atkins does to warrant a place in that team, I'll eat my hat next to Paddy Ashdown. The guy is more bone idle than a Scouser, the day before his dole's due. All he does is point. Nothing else. Wage thief.

There's your agenda right there, Sims has been pretty good for most part of the season while you have been saying how good Roy is, completely contrary to everyone else.
Sims may have had a questionable game today but asotasi was still anonymous. And was it him that did the first pass put of dummy half to Harrison afte higham went off?

Silverwood was appalling today, not as appalling as our goal line defence granted, and I'd be saying that if it was a draw or if we'd won.
Refused to pull hull up on grabbing and dragging our players down by the necks and his on off approach to pulling up forward passes(one of which he pinged us for correctly but lineham still decided he would bring gene down with both hands around his neck)

No Agenda FMC. I tell it as it is Roy has been poop and was a disgrace last season. This season better in short spells and not any way near as bad as last season. Disappointing he was one of the better props.
Sims had a awesome game v Leeds and was our liability today.
