What you are trying to work out is the probabilty of eight teams being drawn in a specific order, then you've made some correction based on the fact that there would be some repetition, due to fact that the order of the matches doesn't matter.

The formula is incorrect though, the possible combinations of the draw are;

n = 8 (the number of teams in the draw)
r = 2 (the number selected for each match)

n!(r*(n-r)), which would give 28 different combinations.

Not wishing to go into the permitations, I would just multiply this number by two as home and away is a different draw. It's easier to see it as;

n!(r*(n-r))*2 than the actual formula of n!(r!(n-r)!)

If you do this there are 56 possible different draws, and (1/56)*100= 1.785714285.
