Seems like Simon Moran doesn't understand why the stadium won't be at capacity for the biggest game ever at the HJ. See todays Guardian.

Regardless of the short of money argument (just make a small cutback somewhere, we probably won't take all the family to this because of the cost but I will be going for sure) if the stadium isn't full I have to question does this town deserve this team (the best ever Warrington side?)? Can't believe I am going to say this but I do question if people are true fans if they make a conscious decision to sit this one out and I don't think this could have ever been said about any other game in living memory.

It is a home semi-final ffs, one game from winning the SL crown.

I've not read what he's said (I work in Chester so the chances of me getting a copy of the Guardian are slim), but is it worth pointing out that the club is not owed anything by the local catchment area? If we want something (and we do, I'm sure we'd all love the place to be sold out for every game) we have to go out and get it, not call people cheap skates for not bothering to turn up.

For me anything less then 11/12k Wire fans would be embarrassing though it sounds like unless we pick Wigan the crowd could be less then the Hudds match

Leeds tend to reflect where Leeds Utd are playing. They're at Brighton tomorrow so Leeds pronbably won't take alot to Hudds. They'd bring alot to us. MOT and all that crap.

Maybe you're missing where I'm coming from. I have already said there will be a large number of people who fall in to the 'glory' category and are only interested in going to finals (see our numbers of fans at Wembley for example). I'm as disappointed as anyone that the team this year hasn't lead to a sold-out stadium every week, but at the end of the day if you want to convince people to come along and watch you're not going to convince them to do that by poking them with a stick and calling them derogatory names.

As ganson's has said, students whoi live 120 miles down the notorway and have spent all their money (read: every penny they have)and also the tern starts that week, nay find it diffiucult to afford an expensive train ticket and ticket two weeks one the bounce.
This coming from a guy who has been to most home and away games this year.

No one needs to get on the defensive here, "I'm a student 120 miles away blah blah blah" as there will always be certain individuals with their own circumstances.

However, anyone who can go next week and just plain chooses not to is obviously not very passionate about the Wire. There's not a chance I'll be missing it.

This season has proved we have around 10,000 regular fans(see home games against teams with zero travelling support). So if we end up playing leeds or wigan we will get a sell out. Play against catalans or hudds and we won't. It isn't hard to work out.

Nobody is expecting every fan to go to every game but unless there is some legitimate reason I still cannot get my head around consciously making a decision to not go this game. Why deny yourself going the most important game at home in living memory? The club must be scratching their heads to why people are not jumping all over this.

Oh and if it is Leeds, their away support is crap and they rarely turn up in numbers to the HJ.

the strange thing is however we took around 30,000 to wembley surely 3000 of the other 20,000 would want to attend this game. I'm gutted everytime I miss a league match never mind play off semi final

Just got 4 extra South Stand tickets online - no problems, non of the charging 3 times like last time.

Be a great atmosphere. People who buy tickets for this should get Grand Final priority.

Brother-in-law got mine this morning. There were about 150 at the ground at 8.30am. He said there were 5 people dedicated to ticket sales and the queue went down very quickly.
