Absolutely, 6 wins, 3 defeats, we're in a good position. Some people haven't got a clue what they're on about. Myler will never replace Briers because he's a completely different type of player. The O'Brien voting thing also makes me laugh. Most of those who voted won't even have seen him play.

I'm waiting for someone to suggest Laithwaite to come in for Harrison.

Actually it wasn't. There have been Myler threads after each of the 3 defeats.

Myler has improved his game tremendously this season...His passing has become more accurate and much faster. His job has been to feed the ball to briers in the right areas.. which he has been doing well... His defence has also got alot better.

He didn't have a great game against Huddersfield... but then again... no one did.

I'm more than happy with his progress.

People that are expecting him to lead us around the field are looking at the wrong player.... I don't think he will ever be that type of scrum half.

Based on their current shower-of-a-squad who wouldn't be ? Right.... I'm off..... need to give a Mr Betts a call about a job vacancy at some crappy plastic scouse team that plays near the Runcorn Bridge.

Seriously, I wouold expect Laithwaite to make a few appearances before the end of the season.

Being a young lad I too think Myler is a confidence player. The team were pretty bad as a whole and he has to learn to keep his head up and raise his team. His defence this season has come on leaps and bounds. He'll never be a Briers type player but he could do with improving his kicking game for sure. Just needs a bit more experience.
Can't believe people would even slightly complain about Harrison. Has been playing great. Poor game last week, yes but I reckon he is a momentum player - don't think resting him works.

Myler is still just a kid , he's getting better all the time and is a class act. We didnt do ourselves any favours out there with dropped ball, unforced errors, etc, also we just lacked direction and definitely confidence without Briers, it's a worry what we'll do when he eventually finishes. What about Huddersfield tactic of hands on the ball in every virtually every tackle, gives the ball carrier something to think of especially in greasy conditions
