Fresh start at Widnes. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you beat us on Friday night. Mind you, I wouldn't have been at all surprised if you'd beaten us at any time during the last three or four years. Why haven't you? Seems crazy to me.

Dunno!!!!!But we have been involved in some great encounters over the years!Last seasons game at your place i watched wire score 3 tries in some 7 or 8 minutes i thought this is it this is what saints usually do to teams WRONG!!!!The Sean long drop goal still makes me do a little bit of sick in my mouth!!!!!Game at the Hj some 4 or 5 seasons ago wire fans counting down the clock!!6,5 4, 3 cunningham try time!!!

I think the "record" means a lot more to us Wire fans than Saints.

I hope so too. I like the way Warrington play the game. And if the standard of recent years is maintained (the standard of match, not Warrington play!), it should be another fantastic game.

That depends who you ask. It's a bigger fixture for me than the Wigan game as we tend to play the same style of rugby and so the contest is more open and even. Wigan are spoilers and so I just tend to end up feeling frustrated for most of the match! Mind you, it was very good to nick a point from them in Cardiff, especially given the arrogance of their players when they did their pre-match warm up while Cas and Wakey were still playing. But for a few years now I've felt a kind of disbelief when we have won against you lot. 'How did we manage to do that?' has often been the question on lots of Saints' fans lips after our encounters with Wire.

Agreed but there will still be plenty of pride in continuing this run, I would eat my trousers if it isn't mentioned amongst the players in the dressing room before the game to pump them up.

I was stood next to a wire fan for most of those type of matches. Everytime I wanted to hug him at the end xD
