Thought it was a great afternoon, Dom was a bit annoying but did a good job and it wouldn't be half as good without him.

I'm happy to hear that Manchester Road was packed, I didn't think anyone would bother with it. Great effort by the council ^in this age of austerity.

Guy standing behind me was going mental at the Mayor calling for him to "RESIGN~!" over and over again - funny stuff.

I couldn't stand the though of listening to "make some noise" etc for 2 hours solid this year so stood at the bottom of Winmarleigh St and followed it up to the town hall, much better pics to be had.

Fab day, I just don't fancy another hang over on 3rd October after celebrating us doing the double!

Decided to avoid town as currently unwell, so we waited on Manchester Road (near Chevies) amongst a lot of other poeple. Chevies appeared packed and people were outside the car sales place sitting on the wall.

We turned up at 4pm. We knew we were early but didnt want to be late - there appeared to be a large crowd already there so god knows how long they were waiting. When the bus finally arrived at 5pm, it was a bit of an anti-climax. It just drove, slowly, past us. I saw about 6 players. No idea where the rest were but I can make out lots of coaching staff etc from the little photos we have. No sign of the cup either.

There were some rough uns out on Sunday. There was an old fella next to me who must have been late 60's/early 70's. He didn't know the name of our coach but then went on to to tell someone how we have turned ourselves around, it was all down to the drinking culture after all. He then made his way down the road, returning a few minutes later to tell someone that he'd tried to climb some scaffolding for a better view but couldn't climb up.
