I know someone who took 4 hours to get as far as warrington last night coming back, so I hope its not that bad on Saturday!

Went last night with the Girlfriend and friends. Very lucky to get on the tram back to manchester from OT, then legged it to Oxford road.



Got home around 12am mark. Overall it was a top night out and the music weren't bad either

The Beatles had 17 No1 singles in the UK in the space of 6 years, many more in the US and overseas. The beatles would have had a lot more number ones but they often released songs at the same time. As talented as Gary Barlow is, I think even he would be embarrassed to be mentioned in the same sentence as The Beatles.

Anyhow such comparisons are misleading. For example "Everything I do" (Bryan Adams) held the UK No1 spot for longer than Can't buy me love, A hard days night, I feel fine and Ticket to Ride put together. Its a strange world.
