| Congrats on the win. Not going to lie I enjoyed that second half. Shows real character from us to be fair. Those first 10 minutes cost us dearly. Not watched the game back so can’t comment on any decisions (can’t see the screen from the north stand lol). Best of luck for the remainder of the season

| Wells couldn’t wait to spout the rules regarding the first no try and still the Sky muppets disagreed and said it was a try.

| I think there was a bit of fatigue from the Wigan game but our forwards switched off too. Not the first time we've relaxed when ahead. Still credit to Wakey. I predicted them to be in the top 5.

| Some things I learnt tonight:
We lack a killer instinct
We sleepwalk through parts of every match
We seem frightened to tackle half backs
We give away too many penalties
Thaler is a terrible ref
No-one understands the obstruction rule
Miller is a grub
Tasi does nothing
Wakefield are nobody's fool
.....and courtesy of the sky Muppets....
Warrington don't have a big enough points difference to go top (several times)
Brough is 36 but still has a quick brain (many times)
Wakefield have injury problems (every 10 mins)
Pauli Pauli & Fifita are big men (every time they touch the ball)
Roby is top of the Man of Steel table (whenever Eddie's spirits needed a lift)
This could be our year (thanks again Phil Clarke)

| I can’t believe our discipline is that different to everyone else. We were getting pinged for every infringement in the second half, BMM is clearly impeded playing the ball, yet Wakey get the pen. You can say he’s moving forward, but he’s trying to find space to play the ball.
Shocking performance by Thaler, fair play to Wakey for pulling it back.

| I thought Price was [iextremely[/i careful with his summing up, and gave me the impression he was seething about our final 20 minutes and Thaler's contribution to our loss of control.
One thing he has never been afraid of is dropping players who haven't performed. But on reflection, who would you drop? We had one perfectly good try ruled out, bombed at least one another (Mamo) and were a blade of grass away from getting another. On another day we'd have hit 50 and Wakeys combaxk would have fizzled out before it began.
Leasons to be learnt undoubtedly, but I'm still struggling to identify one player, or one offence we were consistently guilt of and penalised for.

| Thalers performance was outrageous, almost as outrageous as Jacob Millers holding down and general messing about at the play the ball, and nearly as outrageous as Danny Brough's comment that Warrington are renowned for holding down...
But that poor refereeing display pales way into insignificance to that Shit house of a spiteful wig wearing pot commentator.
could he sound any more bored and thoroughly brassed off at anything good that Warrington do???
Blake Austins great break, charnleys wonderful finish and Ratchford's (as it turned out) match winning touchline conversion for example
his tone was down-beat he didn't sound remotely impressed or excited but when Wakefield make a run from dummy half he's well up for it.
It may not be this year or the next but it fills me with great pleasure that he wont be the voice that eventually calls Warrington champions.
an absolute cretin of a man and the worst commentator in Rugby league by some distance.....and that bar hasn't been set very high....

What was wrong with Atkins tackle at the end, he grabs a bloke by the collar throws him to the ground and the bloke loses the ball as his arm hits the ground?
I assumed it was holding down. but Atkins from the moment he pulled the bloke to the floor to letting go could not have been holding him for longer than 1 second.
I was gobsmacked by it, even though it was about 2 minutes to go and id been treated to 78 minutes of Weird and wonderful calls from Thaler....

| As I saw it. They were toast but we didn't control the momentum. Another lapse like that vs Saints would see heartbreak. We need to be smart. We'll take more from that game than any. Not blaming the ref, tbh he was pretty consistent unlike our game management.

I can only assume you two are related. Consistent? Miller was up to all sorts of interference at the ptb and never got pinged once. They were off side for much of the game - and again no whistle. Thaler was awful and if he was consistent, why was the penalty count so unbalanced?

| I suppose one pleasing aspect from last night is that we never missed a kick and it won us a game. We've moaned plenty about kicking costing us but last night bucked the trend.

| I've just about calmed down from last nights 2nd half performance. Utterly shameful if you ask me, it's not even a case of Price holing the team back to keep them fresh because he was livid at full time.
we weren't even out-played. If we were i could live with that, but we weren't. We were out enthused and out muscled, too much grabbing at shirts and not enough sticking the shoulder in.
That said, we got the 2 points and hopefully this was a wake up call with a tough three weeks coming up. If we can bag 6 points against Hull & London & Saints then that could well be us set up for the rest of the season.
Tasi needs to be dropped, he offers absolutely nothing. Thaler needs to learn what a forward pass is, we got away with a few but Wakey got away with forward passes in the build up to every try, usually to Fiffita. The ruck was painful to watch as well Miller had his hands everywhere and wakefield seem to have mastered the art of letting go of the ball, knocking on and selling it as a ball steal.

as always. Good luck for the rest of the season.

| Our second half performances have been inferior to those in the first half of nearly all our games to date. Last nights second 40 was awful, with Austin's break and Charnley's try off it the only positive.
Taking a shot at goal so early on set the tone, and we should have gone for four more points. I've asked this question after the Wigan game, are we coasting through the second half of games, or are the reduction in interchanges causing us to run out of energy? Either way, there needs to be improvement.
Positives - great first half, two points away from home always gratefully received and Ratchford's goal kicking was on blob.

| The obstruction was a joke, wells echoed thaler's explanation on the field, that there was contact from the dummy runner on the outside shoulder of the defender, which there may have been however a few points to that.
As mentioned currie went through the line, and brough made a bad defensive read, went to tackle him and thats where contact occurred.
At no point was currie in front of patton, nor did he run through as a blocker, he was parallel at all times.
Despite any allegations of obstruction patton was in the process of getting tackled by pauli pauli as he through that pass.
All ends up, that was disgraceful, and if you think of some of the tries leeds and wigan have scored off the back of obstruction and winding runs in and out of the field and around players which we've all seen on sky, it takes the even more.

| I’m always wary of decrying a referee’s performance in games where my team are playing as I know I am intrinsically biased. However, the lack of consistency between the treatment of the 2 teams for offside, holding down and moving off the mark could not have been more obvious.
The obstruction call was clearly wrong.
Worst of all though was that guttersnipe Brough calling us for interfering.

He sent it up as no try though.
If a ref is unsure whether it is obstruction or not they have ALWAYS sent it up as a try and asked the VR to look at it. he sent it up as a no try when he was unsure as to whether he 'thought' he saw an obstruction. why?
I'll tell you why. Because the man's a tit.

| Thought Price got it wrong last night with selecting the small child to come on against that massive Wakefield pack. Clark should have played the full 80 and we should have had another big forward on the bench. Danny Walker needs to bulk up a bit..otherwise he is going to get walked all over every time he plays. I think he's got bags of potential...but physically he is out of his depth at times.
