By all means enjoy yourselves, I was just saying that I did want wire to win it (mainly beacause of Tony Smith), but now think it wouldnt be worth the grief the next time we played you
I imagine my view is similar to most 'neutrals' who will probably be hoping catalan or hull wins it
As a fan of a team out of the title race (first time I could say that in May in 20 years!) I thought Id let you know
When we were in GFs and stuff I always wondered who neutral fans wanted to win (accept the recent CC finals where it was obviously the other team)
Out of interest who did you want to win the GF last year? us or wigan?'"
I went to the Grand Final last year. I bought my tickets for the Leeds end and I sat in that sea of Amber and Blue with my Warrington top on and I cheered you all the way. I think you've got the wrong idea, mate. Yes, we're having a good old laugh at Leeds right now, but what do you expect when you've been world beaters for so long and suddenly you crumble? It's not often you get to laugh at a Leeds team being dire. It's just ribbing, I'm sure when we find our way into the relegation battle everyone will be laughing at us too.

| We get more stick than anyone bar Wigan, teams like to remind us we should know our place...Well we do and it's considerably higher than Leeds right now.

Think it's ridiculous if there is any ban for either player. Was a bit of biff between two props both sin binned and didn't carry on when they came back. Delt with correctly by the ref hope there is no further punishment for either

God out of all the teams in with a shot the two I'd least like to see win are Wigan and ull.
I'd personally quite like to see wire win. They play decent stuff and I like tony smith.
I don't really see the issue with fans. It's so pretty obvious whoever we play we (Leeds) are going to cop for it don't have an issue with it and certainly doesn't bother me
Regarding the next time we play wire coping more if they win, carry on as we are and we won't need to worry about that we will be taking flak in local derbys against Fev Halifax and Batley

Agree with every word. And yes I cheered for Leeds in the GF last year, but it's a "Does my bum look big in this?" question

| Very bad, but I've only just watched the game back due to work.
Really chuffed. So many names to mention:
1) having Sandow back makes the world of difference. Just his stewardship makes the side so much more co-ordinated.
2) ignore number listing as these aren't in any order.
3) Atkins and Evans partnership looks really solid, made a big difference.
4) Simms, great game and I think he showed the opposition that his bite is more than his bark.
5) Bailey- thought he was superb and very strong and no fear in those kick off returns. He looks like he's on the
ball with things as well.
6) Clark and Dwyer-amazing interchange to have. Clark is always top notch and so was Dwyer.
7) Ratchford looks great with the ball and as mentioned previously a great 3rd pivot.
Tony Smiths new haircut- without this, undoubtedly the tactics would have been different and we would have lost.

| As an attacking fullback against Leeds he was excellent going forward but has limitations at fb when we are under the cosh against teams lofting high bombs.

| Being devils advocate....what bombs did he NOT deal with?
He took one in the first half under about 4 Leeds players, we dropped out on it.

| I'm not on about the Leeds game with bombs, but at other times when Ratch has been put at fullback he has not been at his best there in a defensive role, paricularly with his positioning to take kicks. You can't fault him going forward though.

| Ratchford was a different kettle of fish on Friday night playing fullback to what we saw last season. Great attacking threat, sound in defence and diffused the bombs expertly. Last season he just didn't seem interested.
Created a lot of confusion in the line, great foil for Sandow and Gidley. Great work Steff keep up the good work.

| I don't think Ratchford is poor under bombs. He does sometimes get in a mess with the bouncing ball. So for that matter does Russell, whose diminutive stature sometimes causes him an issue.
Both players' best positions are full-back - an annoying fact, but a fact nonetheless. Ratchford was superb in that position the other night.
For me, best players on the night were Hill, Sims, Ratch, Currie and the two hookers. A little shout-out for Lineham too who showed he wanted to be there and got some decent work done.

No. Catalans Dragons (Dodds injured)away 12th March. Ratchford on the bench. Unsure if all 3 were on the pitch at the same time.

| It's the first time we've had ratxh at full back, with gids n sandow in the halves.
Personally I think a lot if people on here, myself included like to make statements in players in too small a sample of games, yes ratch wasn't brilliant last year, but he was injured from the first game at hull, and the whole team was disinterested.
He was never as bad as people made out, it's just many people use the adage, you're only as good a your last game.

| Well we have two games now where the teams play a pretty structured '5 drives and a good kick' type football. It will be interesting to see how Ratchford gets on with his positioning at FB, and then his returns - I think he will have more demanding kicks to field, and a swifter defensive line than against Leeds. Perhaps the fact we had another two pivots on the field also allowed us to cause havoc in the Leeds defence ?

The sky replay misses it I think, and I missed it at the time, but a video on a well known site has it shot from a mobile in the leeds end; it shows it head on.
What a pass... shame the commentators were lamenting Leeds' plight rather than focusing on a great try.

A brilliant piece of rugby league that Eddie is still oblivious to.
My local never has the sound on for a Sky game because if we want to hear a load of shoite we can always go to the pub down the road that has the soccer on.

One of the Leeds fans out of shot squeals 'forward, you c***' after every Wire try. How they are so sure from behind the sticks is anyone's guess.
