How's about putting a clock in tthe ground? I've been told to get a life I bang on about this so much, but can't believe we don't have one! Surely it would be beneficial for the players as well.

Iv'e said it before Halliwell jones is an excellent stadium, much better than a lot others which are too big to create an atmophere for a sl game, we can easily fill the ground if it were expanded particulary on a big local derby and would also attract other events as it does at present, even if were not filled to capacity it would still have atmosphere.

Is there any detail out on how they plan to do it? remember couple of seasons ago they had plans for second tier on the North stand but that was just a few 100s for prawn sandwich lot.

OT slightly. Is it just me with OCD that can't bare it when there are bulbs out on the stadium logo's and stand names? Like the Wolves badge at the moment is lit up in two parts and they haven't replaced the rest that have gone out.

Back on topic though... how will filling the corners in of any of the stands except for East-North and South-West actually work? ie. Seating connecting with standing areas. Will be/look a bit odd.

I cant see how filling in the corners will increase the capacity from 13k to 18k. The whole north and east stands only hold that much.
Wish they'd show the expansion plan/options that they keep mentioning so we can get all excited

This year not so but in previous years we've hit or nearly hit the 13k mark and some games hit 11k where mainly the spaces are in the £24 north stand, if we had more standing available I think we'd have a tacked a few quid onto our turnover for thew bigger clashes

and less yellow lines.

What gets me about them is that it's cramped round them yet move in a bit and you can swing a donkey

No but seriously why expand yet? I think it's a bad move. I would definantly put plans in place but I would fill the stadium as it is now and create a demand for tickets. If warrington perform on the pitch next year it may be time though.

I'd definatley welcome an expansion. The staduim only sells out a few times a year but when it does its so full in the soulth its a joke

would be a waste of seats as 6000 was a good attendance at wilderspool so we aint gona get 14,000 new fans and we also shouldnt as there would we loads of empty seats ruining the atmosphere like at harlequins

Your not alone! everytime i go tesco with the misses at night i say to her i wish thay would sort them bulbs out. as for the badge lastnight it was totaly out it nearly sent me into a fit of rage

filling the corners in at the HJ is a cracking idea sound and capacity wise. look at doncasters keepmoat stadium. looks nice

I'd agree with that in relation to certain games but our away following at Bradford, Hull, Hull KR & Wakey has been very poor in recent seasons.
